I couldn't get this episode out of my head the last couple of days. The news that Lucas, Shotaro, and Sungchan being taken out of NCT made a section of this episode play over and over in my head. When Doyoung is trying to explain NCT's "limitless" number of members concept to Jeong Hyeong-don and Hyeong-don says that members could be lost and Doyoung replies "We won't lose members" and "we promised ourselves" it's just so heartbreaking to think that that was their hope and plan to always be together, unlike their fellow SM groups TVXQ and EXO who ended up losing a lot of their members before their contracts with SM were supposed to end. I feel like if Lee Soo Man were still in charge at SM he never would have taken members out of NCT. He might have eventually come to the same decision as the last CEO to stop NCT's "limitless expansion," but he would have understood how close the members are and kept them all together.
