  • Like a BOSS Jewson Driver has that Friday Feeling Delivering a Bag of Sand.
Comment down below if your local Jewson delivery driver is a boss!
Jewson Builders... our older viewers will remember the Jewson advert... "Mornin' Boss, You in a hurry?" "I need this little lot and Jewson quick" taking us back to 1989 ( • Jewson (1) 1989 UK Com... ). 30 years later we tested Jewson, it's 2019 now but Jewson today were... Jewson quick delivering some materials here at Little Brothers' Studio.
The Brothers' were expanding their minds so I grabbed this video of todays Jewson action. I've never seen a builders merchant alighting from their lorry so sprightly... in fact it was almost as if he had anti-gravity shoes on ( steel tow capped too I trust... no PPE... no delivery ).
There has been more Jewson rain than what we cared for in the last Jewson 24 hours.
For those of you who think "Bag of sand" equals a grand, no slang here... Jewson did in fact deliver a bag of sand and a few other things.

In this video we see a Jewson delivery driver exit his lorry like a BOSS having that friday feeling delivering a bag of sand.

Well, 2 other things I saw in that video too.
He was moving around WHILST operating the crane (this is not permitted) If you have to reposition yourself you must FIRST press the emergency stop RED Button. This nowadays is a failure in the test.
Lastly, putting the load between a bush and an electric cable.
What crane operators would do to please a customer.

@@briandoyle8003 Sure, but that is the difference between Cowboys and real hiab operators.
We are NOT here to make a customer happy by doing it quick but rather to deliver or collect in the safest way possible either with a liftplan or not.
I have in the past refused lifts on big sites and in some small occasions override APs and crane supervisors for the sake of safety. Till date, I do most of the work for them and senior management have come back to be with praises for good practice.
I have done jobs for Jewson's as subcontractor and they wanted me to work for them full time, I turn them down due to the unsafe practice.
Finally, there is no a TOO LONG job, just a well-done safe job.
You are entitle to do whatever you want with your crane operations but rest assure that cutting corners will one day bite you in the rear.

@@truckeralvarez5932 been driving hgv and using a crane for 10 years and I also have drove for Jewsons,Jewsons and they expect approx 3 runs a day with between 5 to 8 drops and if you can't keep up you won't be going back (simple as) now I'm not sure what praise you have been receiving but I suspect you're one of these old drivers who think they know it all anf drag their feet at jobs,Also I've in the past done driving assessments for a medium size building merchants and we tend to not hire drivers who, let's say who fk around when doing deliveries hence why we have 6 month probation periods, now I'm sure health and safety will agree with you but the truth is not all jobs are as simple as basic training,Delivering under telephone lines are normal and I wouldn't refuse a delivery if it can be done because we will just have to go back out again

You’re right there I would have to refuse, that would be off-putting and a distraction, you just know it’s going on YT and he never had 3 points of contact and made a point of showing it. Not good… we’re in a public space ANYONE can film us.
