I actually never upgraded it when i played on ps2 back in 2007 and later, probably because it was strong enough cuz it one-shoted all enemies. But upgrade gives splash damage instead of single beam

The weapon is not upgradable. The ps2 version was nerfed to shot a single beam for some reason. The original version (and all other ported versions) of the gun has the faster charge time and hits all enemies on screen by default

@@marcelzed1154 The PS2 version is the first version that even had the PRL, the GC original only had the Handcannon, Typewriter and Infinite Rocket Launcher, since Seperate Ways doesn't exist on GC.
So the PS2 PRL is the original, you can't nerf something that hadn't existed yet.

P.R.L. is better, far most consistent at one-shooting than the rocket launcher

Yeah the rocket launcher takes like 69 years to reach the target.

Then it can be effective for large hoards and bosses but it’s slow when aiming and yeah as you mentioned takes ages to reach the target. But the prl 412 on the other hand can reach targets from far away and if you’re playing the hd version can hit multiple targets at once. And takes less time to recharge compared to the ps2 version

Está arma mata más fácil a los enemigos porque son controlados por la plaga y la plaga es muy sensible a este tipo de armas creo y por eso es más fácil de pasarte el juego en mi opinión ☺️
