I got an error 797: A connection to the remote acces server was not made becasue the modem was not found.
But I confirm I have plugged in my portable modem to my laptop.
Can you help me please ? It said "Windows could not detect a dial-up modem " even tho the usb was totally on and i can connect to it wifi

Check your usb connection,is it fine or not . Use your router in another device via usb. I don't know what is the main reason of this problem.
@@sstechlab580 oh, sorry to not reply you soon. I could not find the reason so i just reseted the whole computer, then it worked fine. Maybe some drive software in my computer broke or conflicted.

It's happened when your sim card does not covering enough network. Try to change networ type 4g to 3g. Restart it. Wait for a while.I hope, It will be fine . I also faced this problem when I bought it . Then it's getting better.

Don’t understand your words.
It’s not only a usb modem, It's a wifi router also. If your computer did not have wifi driver or if your pc did not support wifi then you can't use it as a wifi router. First, you must have a computer that support wifi then you can use it as a wifi router.

You can use any type of sim card of your country. It must work.

I'm really not clear on what you're claiming/doing here. I know quite a bit about computing. Technically, every peripheral uses a drive. When you use a 4G dongle, it may not require drivers you downloaded separately, but as far as I know, it will always use one of Windows' generic drivers, ruch as the RNDIS driver. So, how does this not use a driver? Check Device Manager and you'll see one of the serial network USB WWAN device drivers loaded.
Windows have it’s default driver for everything. But, when you are going to use any external devices such a modem,graphics card etc. Then you must be install some drivers of that individual device. Otherwise you can't use that device in your pc.
No, that only applies to some devices. USB WWAN dongles are usually handled by Windows' built-in RNDIS driver. There is no need to download or install drivers manually.

Did you try to use this device in any laptop or PC? Try to use it as a modem and check. If it will work as a modem then it's fine.
