The melee weapon is there in case you run out of ammo (bring a bow with electric arrows as well since the guards in the lobby can be troublesome to get past) Come prepared with these things and a bit of patience and you can finish the prison on nightmare in 10-15 minutes
I beat the boss and skip all the lock chest because I was worried about the clock counting down hahaha wow... I did that all for nothing! New to the game, loving it! 80% in story mode so far.

Wow, nightmare was surprisingly easy, especially with my electric and bleed bat with only assassin mods :P I at the end the electric really took care of the runners and the big guy was really easy with shotgun and crossbow.
you can farm normal weed behind the museum rais hq in old town, it respawns quickly, sometimes even if you turn around, just keep walking away a little bit and come back
To anyone watching it in 2021, just use toughness potion, you unlock it at survival level 3 and it make bullets do like 3 to 4 damage. Get a police rifle semi auto that hit like 300+ to headshot humans. Get some molotovs or explosive grenades/crackers to deal with virals. Use camouflage. Use a double barrel shotgun to kill the big guys. Don't make it worse to yourself.
To give an update to this video, the prison method is no longer viable as you cannot get past the goon anymore without killing it. The game forcibly makes you walk backwards and gets you insta killed by the goon. It will then respawn you all the way back at the beginning.
Thanks for this method. I managed to complete the prison two times on nightmare mode for my nintendo switch. My time never ran out and you always get 7 King mods and 7 gold weapons if you manage to open all the boxes. I love that the game rewards you for being persistent in beating a complex level over and over using clever tactics.

Or you could have two people with the resistance potion and cloak , then the second person with the stuff you have. The 1st person kill all the enemies. And 2nd covers the 1st person.
The volatile nests can rarely give you brawlers which can be annoying but as you said, a lot of times, you'll get clicker mods. :P ( Edit: Have a great day m8. Lol :> )

There are different cloak : Shroom potions , liver potion , bolter potion and kidney potion and cloak potion. All of them have side effects except for the cloak
@@Naughty_Squad If I remember correctly, firing your gun immediately alerts enemies to your location. Hence the cloak is cancelled when you do that. The same happens when you are using the zombie camouflage where you smear their dead guts on yourself.
if you are going for melee i would highly recommend any of the two handed swords as you will be able to just mow down hordes of the virals easily, much better than using any other melee weapon
Is there any way to kill the two demolishers faster on Nightmare New Game Plus? They always eat up all my shells, and I can't exactly revert to non-new game+...
Austindudeman1 I play on nightmare too, I don’t know if new game plus makes a difference but my saved game is a new game plus save and normally I shoot the demolishes in the face at point blank and they die fast.
New game plus gives the demolishers more health, except for Sgt. Deathrow who seems to be a giant pushover no matter what. But its strange that your demolishers go down so quickly, maybe my game is borked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Austindudeman1 Actually now that you mention it I don’t notice a difference between death row and regular demolishers and I’ve seen videos where you can’t help but notice the death row is way tougher. I’m playing on new game plus and I usually shoot each demolished in the face a minimum of three times in the face with the shotgun.

Another way to get "unlimited clickers" is to go to the countryside, find a volatile hive, if you dont have modded weapons or extremely powerful weapons like shotguns and weapons that do like 3k+, you can go at night. But there will be a fair amount of virals and nightwalkers and if your really unlucky maybe one or two volatiles. After you take care of the fodder zombies, kill the nests. You might get a clicker, but if you dont get a single clicker, you can just go to another hive. After you get a clicker, put it into your storage, and do the duplication glitch. Probably easier then the method he does in this video.
you can actually also go to the following and play the game and destroy nests and loot the volatile that is stuck on the ground and it has a chance at giving you a clicker and then do it again and again and you'd get alotta clickers.

So you get Kings mod from the harran prison but do you HAVE TO do it on nightmare mode or else the kings won't spawn? I just recently bought dying light during the winter sale so I want to know.
You can skip both zombie rooms, the shootout can be done in 30 seconds. Use cloak potions and flares in the zombie rooms to rush the picklock. The final arena just use bows or shotguns, either will kill the demolishers.
And you going to need to get a higher legend level to increase damage output, or do a low level run, it took every rifle,shotgun , even to a point of hitting it with our melee weapon, yes ours, it was a dual run, we got by the rest of the prison through 8 ish minute but it took us over 15 mins just to kill the last charger because we literally scratching it with out bows and gun, our legend level were only 2 and 3, since the zombies level has you do, you either go on low levels where guns do high damage or get really high on legend levels and at least max the gun damage
You should actually have a bit more time than that. I think it's a maximum of 14 minutes to get the guru reward on nightmare difficulty. Just use cloak potions in the zombies segment as well as flares to get thru the locked door.

The 2 shot kill with a crossbow headshot on demolishers is part of a community event to get 50 headshots. All headshots with bows and crossbows are lethal and on demolishers they are a 2 shot kill.

Did this DLC yesterday with one other on hard, was only survivor lvl 15 and we dont have shotgun ammo available to buy. Took 30 mins to get to the demolisher then another 30mins to kill them lol

@@oxyrg2659 It depends a litte bit on what platform you're on, but it's relatively easy and there's multiple duplication tutorials. The method I use is first finding a safe zone and a quest that are near to eachother (The best example being the Sunny Mountain Tunnel quarantine zone its neighboring safe zone. Don't forget to equip it's respective quest). Then, while looking at the safe zone stash bag, open the matchmaking menue, and select any game. When the loading screen starts, you quickly disconnect and reconnect your internet. Once you do, it should give you the standard, "You are in singleplayer now" popup message, which you dismiss. Sometimes if the pause menue is there, you dismiss that, too. Then, you will get the, "Your last save will be loaded so you can continue your story progress" popup, and the moment you dismiss it, you need to spam Square / X / Whatever your interaction keybind is for PC in order to open the stash, and then move your selection cursor to the storage side of the stash menue. This bit is all done very quickly, and takes practice. Then, you will spawn at your nearest equipped quest area (e.i, the entrance to the SMT challenge zone, in this example), where you will still have the stash menue onscreen. All you do then is scroll to the item you want to duplicate and drop the item(s). Note that if you do ANYTHING other then scrolling up, down, or dropping your item, it'll crash your game immediately. Also, per duplication you are only able to drop one item or stack of items. Trying to duplicate more then one unit per duplication will also cause a crash. Once you've dropped the item, it should still 'be' in the bag, but it doesn't allow you to drop it anymore. From there you just close the menue and pick it up off the ground. Finally, you just go back to a stash, and your original item(s) will be there. It takes practice, but it works.

Method 2: Die 7 Million times and hit your console/pc with a sledgehammer.
I got a modded rifle and did it in 5 minutes

Took me half an hour first time. Now it takes me 6 minutes to run lol

I have luck killing demolishers and volatiles at night in the country side!
Usually, i wait till it's nighttime and lure alpha volatiles near a safe zone and just kill them. When you search them you'll often get a king mod

There is this cheap potion called resistance potion.....maybe try it? All you need is cloak and resistance potion for the prison heist

Joe You should be able to one shot them in the head with bows and crossbows.
Actually, the prison Demolishers take like 10-12 arrows/bolts on Nightmare+.
The ones you find in old town do get one shot in the head from those.

Jack Look up Stuffed Turtle quarantine zone farming. If you have the grappling hook, only getting 3/5 will be sooo much quicker.

you can get it in all possible modes easy, hard, and nightmare

And you going to need to get a higher legend level to increase damage output, or do a low level run, it took every rifle,shotgun , even to a point of hitting it with our melee weapon, yes ours, it was a dual run, we got by the rest of the prison through 8 ish minute but it took us over 15 mins just to kill the last charger because we literally scratching it with out bows and gun, our legend level were only 2 and 3, since the zombies level has you do, you either go on low levels where guns do high damage or get really high on legend levels and at least max the gun damage
try making him charge into the spikes - dunno why but it feels like he dies soo much quicker

Play it on nightmare and beat it in less than 7 min and 10 seconds to get the guru reward. You get more time and better loot at higher tiers.

You should actually have a bit more time than that. I think it's a maximum of 14 minutes to get the guru reward on nightmare difficulty. Just use cloak potions in the zombies segment as well as flares to get thru the locked door.

Jim Hickman actually, if you see your health when you heal in hard mode, it regenerates slower than nightmare. So nightmare for some reason is easier
i have king mods. a lot. i can give u muahahaha. for prison, it worked on hard too, only that, u won't get a whole 3min loot time like nightmare does

The 2 shot kill with a crossbow headshot on demolishers is part of a community event to get 50 headshots. All headshots with bows and crossbows are lethal and on demolishers they are a 2 shot kill.

They must have upped the difficulty, my potions dont work for the virals or the viotales, and the flares dont work either they run right through them.
Cloak potions work on everything but evolved volatiles (blue/black ones), and you need to be using zaid’s flares, not regular ones.
Did this DLC yesterday with one other on hard, was only survivor lvl 15 and we dont have shotgun ammo available to buy. Took 30 mins to get to the demolisher then another 30mins to kill them lol

@@oxyrg2659 It depends a litte bit on what platform you're on, but it's relatively easy and there's multiple duplication tutorials. The method I use is first finding a safe zone and a quest that are near to eachother (The best example being the Sunny Mountain Tunnel quarantine zone its neighboring safe zone. Don't forget to equip it's respective quest). Then, while looking at the safe zone stash bag, open the matchmaking menue, and select any game. When the loading screen starts, you quickly disconnect and reconnect your internet. Once you do, it should give you the standard, "You are in singleplayer now" popup message, which you dismiss. Sometimes if the pause menue is there, you dismiss that, too. Then, you will get the, "Your last save will be loaded so you can continue your story progress" popup, and the moment you dismiss it, you need to spam Square / X / Whatever your interaction keybind is for PC in order to open the stash, and then move your selection cursor to the storage side of the stash menue. This bit is all done very quickly, and takes practice. Then, you will spawn at your nearest equipped quest area (e.i, the entrance to the SMT challenge zone, in this example), where you will still have the stash menue onscreen. All you do then is scroll to the item you want to duplicate and drop the item(s). Note that if you do ANYTHING other then scrolling up, down, or dropping your item, it'll crash your game immediately. Also, per duplication you are only able to drop one item or stack of items. Trying to duplicate more then one unit per duplication will also cause a crash. Once you've dropped the item, it should still 'be' in the bag, but it doesn't allow you to drop it anymore. From there you just close the menue and pick it up off the ground. Finally, you just go back to a stash, and your original item(s) will be there. It takes practice, but it works.
