@@crowcrow2499I’m going through a very similar situation. I was in a very dark place because of alcohol. I lost my girlfriend, my kids and my job. I’m now trying to pick up the pieces. I have a 14 and 12 year old with my ex wife and a 6 year old with my ex girlfriend. After my girlfriend left me she teamed up with my ex wife and they both took me to court for full custody. It baffles me because they were always arch enemies and now they’re buddies. I will say this. Seeking treatment and staying sober has helped me tremendously in court. I feel like it actually strengthens your case when a judge sees that you’re willing to go to great lengths to better yourself. Neither of them were awarded custody. I’ve recently finished the case with my youngest but the ex wife is an absolute monster narcissist. She continues to prolong the case. I hope all goes well for you my friend. Congratulations on your recovery. God only knows how difficult of a battle addiction is to overcome.

All that matters is protecting his son from his erratic scary behaviour. Yes separation & divorce is hard on children but growing up only knowing your father as a ranting, slurring, frightening mess is far worse & he didn't ask to be raised amongst that. That child already has the genetic odds stacked against him due to having an severe addict for a father & being born into so much turmoil & craziness so if his Father cannot be a reassuring, safe, consistent & CLEAN presence in his life then it's best for his ongoing development that he is protected from that. (NB. Not an opinion but based on evidence & research - MA in Child Devl & Education).
I believe it had been reported that nikki and bam were never legally married and she was unaware of this unitl recently. This is really why it is so important to know what is going on in your relationship/marriage. Dont let someone else handle these things without you knowing all the details. You have yo be present 100%

I can relate my ex used to be self destructive he would get crazy drunk and would have scary mood swings I tried to love him and be there for him as much as I could all while I was taking care of our kids and home but he wasn't happy he had a bad childhood that he just couldn't let go of. Finally, after 20 years, I had to let him go. I found out he was doing meth heroin and crack cocaine while we were married that I had no idea about. Bam reminds me so much of him he was also a huge fan of slayer. He eventually got remarried but was the same wild crazy person until he had 2 strokes, then he finally mellowed out, so I heard. He had another stroke and died at the hospital due to pneumonia on February 21, 2021. Rip Tim ❤

His family and other shady characters are constantly assuming he is doing something even when he isnt, and petty reasons have been used to keep him in rehab and get shuffled to different rehabs over and over which is draining to the wallet. Im pretty sure hes giving Nikki 5k or more a month and she is purposely cutting off even phone contact with his son, to the point of not receiving gifts from bam to phoenix on purpose.
