Nosy bystanders did an 8 hour interview with Brandon earlier this year. I believe there’s a lot more to this story than face value and that this young man has been railroaded for his ties to the Jakes clan. Nevertheless, whatever has ACTUALLY occurred will all come out in the wash. This girl will be a legal adult in a couple of years and may be old enough now to become an emancipated minor. I look forward to hearing DIRECTLY from her mouth rather than Cora’s allegations.

Just for a moment, imagine the public and personal humiliation of the CHILD, let alone the personal grief of losing a Dad to prison. Just because something happened doesn't mean that it's EVERYONE'S business. Justice was served in a court of law as well as I'm SURE God's taking care of this ordeal, just as He would in YOUR Family. According to the Word of God, WE are NOT judge and jury. What gives ANYONE the right to DEMAND to know anything that is going on with another's Family? How YOU judge is how You WILL be judged. Having been a victim of the very same crime, and YES, it's horrific indeed, if You are indeed a Christ Follower and a Believer of His Word, We ALL should be Praying for everyone involved instead of posting about GOSSIP, and that's what THIS is: nothing but chatter meant for evil and religiousity. Christ Followers are to be KNOWN for the LOVE They give, not for likes of the internet. You're supposed to be ABOVE this. Why do You look at the speck....'nuf said. And THIS comes from Someone who went through that same horror as a Child and couldn't deal with it until almost 50 years later. Nothing has changed the fact that it did indeed happen. It did. And YES, I would LOVE to have all those Years back and be able to relive Them all over, but then I would NOT be the Man of God I am Today because of the Compassion of Christ and the sheer POWER of His Grace to get Me through every single Day since. But One Day, One GLORIOUS Day, there WILL be a FINAL Judgement on ALL. You, Me, all of Us. We will be judged by how We used what God's given Us - Words. You can spread gossip, which IS a form of hate, or You can spread the Love of Jesus. What Words will be YOUR judgement? Let Me start the ball rolling. Hey, if something like this has happened to YOU or a Loved One, KNOW that it DOES matter to God, and yes, He will sustain You. Seek the Help that You must find. Know this: it was NOT Your fault. Most times, if the Woman knows, she is afraid of the Perpetrator!!! And it's a Sad situation for her. I wonder if she really paid Attention to the child?? I’m not surprised by any of this. Church folks NEED to stop idolizing their leaders. Respect, support and appreciation have nothing to do with ignorance and idolatry. We listen and adhere to their teachings more than the Word itself. STOP the foolishness of walking and being lost sheep. The truth of Christhas already set us free yet we enslave ourselves at the mercy of these preachers who prostitute the church. It’s a shame how many of them start right but gets politically inclined once fame hits. Then, it becomes more of a show than winning souls. I’m saying this as a born again Christian who believes in the entirety of salvation as Jesus Christ being Lord and Savior of the world. Believe in the trinity and Christ coming back for His church. Believe in having and being a member of a Christ center church but we need to be more discerning with what we accept and these preachers need to be more accountable. It’s not necessarily true that Cora Jakes ex husband will spend the remainder of his life in jail. He received 20 years for each of the two charges to be served consecutively or concurrently? You did not state. If concurrently, at most, he would be 53 after serving 20 years. Ultimately, he will not serve all 20 years. If he received a total of 40 years to be served consecutively, he would be 73, which is not the rest of his life. If he was not guilty he should not have pled.
Where was Cora when her ex husband was allegedly raping their adopted daughter? Cora knew that he was not being intimate with her do she should have figured this all out.
