Hiro is a very lucky man to own such a beautiful bike. This custom Z has so many beautiful components on it; suspension, brakes, exhaust and I am sure there is much more that I did not see. And the engine sounds very nice too. 😊
I ride a 82 ELR, but have always loved the lines of the 1980. It's hard to find one here in the U.S. that's not shaft drive. Awesome looking and sounding bike my friend.
I worked in a Suzuki and Kawasaki dealership workshop. I serviced many Kawasaki Z. The J model is my favourite because it's the lightest. Kawasaki reengineered the Z1000J for the lightest possible weight. They all look and go great, just very heavy except the J model.

I completely agree. Z1000J model were lighter than other big Z models. Also It was improved engine and frame

1000は音が違う、重低音かつ、レ…シ、カワサキ車らしいサウンド、かっこいい、純正ポイ車両が一番好きですね。あまりカスタムされたのは?お金掛かるし、維持比が掛かるし、の…まるでも維持費掛かるし、皆よくカスタムしてますよ?2,3台とぼしい野良ありますが、1台でせいっぱい、皆さんすごいです。
リッター空冷Zは重低音ですね、その中でもKZ1000~MK2がもっとも重低音な気がします、ノーマル派カスタム派はそれぞれの拘りですね!
Cheap to service compared with GPZ900.
If you can find Z1000J, you will not be sorry.
