- (Nov. 23) Watch live as the Michigan Board of State Canvassers meets to vote on certifying election results for the entire state, which would solidify President-elect Joe Biden's win in the state and give him 16 electoral votes.
President Donald Trump did not ask Michigan Republican lawmakers to “break the law” or “interfere” with the election during a meeting at the White House, a legislative leader said Sunday, a day before canvassers plan to meet about whether to certify Joe Biden’s 154,000-vote victory in the battleground state.
House Speaker Lee Chatfield was among seven GOP legislators who met with Trump for about an hour on Friday, amid his longshot efforts to block Biden’s win.
“There was this outrage that the president was going to ask us to break the law, he was going to ask us to interfere, and that just simply didn’t happen,” he told Fox News of the highly unusual meeting. He did not elaborate on what was discussed, except to say the delegation asked for additional federal aid to help Michigan’s coronavirus response.
Michigan’s elections agency has recommended that the Nov. 3 results - including Biden’s 2.8-percentage point victory - be certified by the Board of State Canvassers, which has two Democrats and two Republicans. The Republican National Committee and the state Republican Party want the board to adjourn for 14 days to investigate alleged irregularities in Wayne County, the state’s largest and home to Detroit.

What he leaves out is the machines use a closed network that is air gapped from the internet so when it says connected on "that little internet icon" it's on a network between the voting machines. The nonsense about the election workers can just do whatever they want from the central station seems laughable there is ofc measures setup to prevent such things.
With the multifactor authentication, no internet access, locked ports, encryption, role access, and audits on every action taken on the system that seems like a pain to hack. Plus even if you did the paper receipts are physically locked in a box and your voting machine results audited against paper receipts have to match.
He cant demonstrate fraud or even potential fraud. He thinks he should be able to cross examine people that's funny. That should be before a judge not trying to turn a canvas board into a court.
I am a software engineer like him. I set up my home network. I know the basics of networking but just because I have an advanced degree in CS doesn't mean I am an expert in networking, which I am not.

In our country, you are innocent until proven guilty. No one has to prove there was no fraud. It is Trump's job to prove that there WAS. He is the one making the accusations.
