I don't think I have ever seen a box this huge! I refuse to believe that some of the choices, like keeping all that hair in one piece, or the multiple circle bases, were necessary 🧐 She is so classy though! 😳
The box design and some design choices, like the size of the ponytail, are certainly questionable. Alas, the figure itself is still very nice with that bunny bun trying to bend the metal rod, haha!
I shouldn't look at this because my figure addiction will kick in. But you doing a great work, it's my first video of you but I will definitely looking for more of you. Because this kind of unboxing is high quality and I like it 😊
Thank you very much! While you are waiting for the next fine figure to be unboxed, you can watch my previous videos of also very fine figures. Mhmhmh, yes, yes. 🎩👌
Finally it's here! Even tho I got mine 2 weeks ago, I'm still looking forward to your beautifully shot videos. And you never disappoint! Good work sir! 😊
Great showcase as always! My thought on this figure: expensive, good body sculpt but not too many details, and the face is kinda off. I will take Apex's wedding NJ over this any day - the pose is divine, the amount of small details is godly, insane customization (three face plates, veil on/off, dress tail on/off), and it's 1:7 which is always a plus for me personally. I prefer smaller scale because I feel like small equals good craftsmanship... and it takes way less real estate 😂 Btw Import tax is 10% at my place, but duty free for packages under 2m VND (about $90). Normally the seller can produce a "friendly" invoice to take advantage of this, but NJ's box is so big it will damn sure be raising custom's eyebrows 😂
Many thanks! And oh yeah, the Oath New Jersey by APEX is also on my list! While this Bunny New Jersey has its flaws, it is still a nice figure to have. Certainly not suitable or affordable for many collectors out there but I am just weak to bunny shipgirls...urgh! I just cannot say "No!" to them!
Collectors be like... Now that i have finally obtained this exquisite item, i'm going to place it on a shelf and never touch it unless i want to clean it.
Word of advice! Be careful when putting the metal pole into the bottom part, apparently if you push to hard, can come right out of the bottom of the plastic base! Looks amazing!! The flat parts on the bottom of the hair is slightly rotated / un-level, anyone else figure out how to have the flat parts of hair level with the base?
Thanks for the advice. Some hair strings with flat bottoms are not aligned properly because of the material. It is rather elastic and less stiff and reduces the chance of accidentally breaking it. One way to affix them to the bases is simply using a bit of double-sided tape, preferably thin and transparent ones because they are easy to remove without leaving stains or marks and are quite strong (if you buy from a well-known brand).
I still think for a figure that big plus shipping; it would of been nice if they did those bases a bit better. Such as detailing rather then plain looking. Otherwise a impressive figure. Side note: december is coming with new releases such as my favorites coming from arknights, which is one of my favorites. Unfortunately i cant get this figure because my list for December already exceeds my wallets budget....
I believe this figure will receive a nice discount sooner or later. And in your case I would rather get your favourite figure from Arknights first rather than this massive budget eating monster, haha!
It looks fine to me. I can imagine that some lines might be drawn or applied badly but that wouldn't be a reason for me to worry too much about it. It will be fine!
1 main base and three support bases to level the hair and prevent sagging. Excessive, yes. Necessary? No, because you can literally use anything else to level/prop up the hair. Like using the base of other FREEing figures because their bases are also too large but are all the same height, haha!
The bases are typical for FREEing: plain and sometimes too big - no matter the price tag. And yes, the shipping costs are the main reason why many collectors and commanders outside of Japan won't buy it. Rather sad because despite the flaws and high price tag, the figure itself is still very good. And that bunny shipgirl bun? **chef's kiss**
@@TheSilentConnoisseur I bought myself the nendoroid of New Jersey and is very cute. I'm not a fan of the fishnet because it does not look like the original artwork. However I like the texture of the chest area. I saw the shipping too on some people who bought her Jesus this is insane.
And that might be without the import fees or additional taxes! I roughly paid over $200 for shipping, import fees and taxes via DHL Express...good gosh!
I both hate, and love, that this was the first character and skin that made me buy gems in Azur Lane... No regrets though :| Another one from that series that looked good was the green one that Morrison got, although they ended up giving her bunny-suit a skirt for some reason. At least we still have her chibi that's just wearing the regular one.
I got my own but someone on customs really loved or hated my NY because she was opened up completely, also some of the quality could be better for a high priced figure.
Customs might got suspicious of the overall high price and shipping cost for a collectible figure. I also wished that certain parts like the hair would have been made better or differently, which would have decreased the price and size box. Alas, we can only hope that FREEing is learning for that. NY buttocks is still "mind bending", hehehe!
Three words to describe this figure: Expensive. Excessive. Exhilarating!
so how does your wallet feel now that you have it ? x)

She's finally here! Bunny so big even the plastic she comes in takes up the whole frame lol. Great angles, loved the showcase!
I had to cheat to get the whole box in frame, haha!
That was seriously big box with figures in it. And need bigger space for display too.
An absolute monster of a box and her hair takes all the space, haha!
@@TheSilentConnoisseur Got to handle her hair well. She's so beautiful.
That’s huge! I saw it is on sale on Solaris Japan. I wish I have the money and space for her. As always, beautiful video ❤
Thank you very much :3
Very nice video, chapeau Mr. connaisseur.
The passion you put in your videos can always be felt.
Thank you very much 🎩👌
Great unboxing of New Jersey ❤❤😊😮 wow so her hair is the reason the box is so big lol 😂 but I’m still glad I order her.
Can’t wait to get her soon.
Hopefully you don't have to wait for too long! In the meantime it is best to prepare the necessary space for that massive ponytail, haha!
@@TheSilentConnoisseurlol indeed 😂
Awesome and I just got my tracking number for mine and I can't wait
Prepare yourself and make room for her because that bunny shipgirl bun demands a lot of space..and attention!
@SakegeistCollects yep bought a new case a few month's ago just for this purpose
Noice!
Finally it's here! Even tho I got mine 2 weeks ago, I'm still looking forward to your beautifully shot videos. And you never disappoint! Good work sir! 😊
Thank you very much and apology for being way too late with the video. The massive bunny shipgirl bun distracted me to much, haha!
reminds me of my Okita Souji Alter package. She was so expensive to ship. I can only imagine this one.
Great showcase as always!

Impressive that they went so all-out on the hair.
They absolutely did!

7:37. Does your NJ high heel paint look okay? I can't tell. I heard some can look bad. Hope mine is okay

Yes. Yes. YES. YES!
Yes ;^)
Yes.
Look impressive but the air seems kinda off to me '-'
God damnmmm 😯😵
Love that pole

I like it but why 4 bases?..

Umzugskarton
Sogar größer als die üblichen Umzugskartons, haha!
@@TheSilentConnoisseur The.. what?! Das ist ja schon next level. 🙃
For such an expensive figure the figure bases are really a let down.
