As a teenager who has come to Christ in the past 2 years, I have seen more and more how my closest friends have been influenced by the world and how much people hate hearing the truth. So to whoever is reading this, stay strong, repent and remember Jesus loves you.

There are definitely self-righteous people who are trying to work their way to heaven, but the thing is, while we are to show love and point people to Christ, we are never told to accept sinful behavior. Attacking believers who obey the commandment for holiness is a major reason for the terrible condition of the churches, today. True believers are being forced out of the churches and replaced with worldly people who know nothing of repentance.
I agree with you except for the part of people thinking they can get to heaven by their works. At least I never met a single "Christian" who believed that, or loved their life that way. However, I do know for a 100% fact that you cannot get to heaven without good works. I read I everywhere I the bible, and especially in James 2, "faith without works is dead". Whoever this guy is talking about I'm not sure, never been in a church like that, and I've been a Christian fornover 30 years. What we have is just exactly the oppositein the church, embrace everyone and everything the world brings in the church. Never tell anyone they are wrong, or discipline them. Never tell anyone they are lost when they live like the devil, because they tellnyou they "prayed a prayer one time". Never oppose anything but holiness and never tell anyone they can't overcome sin. As a so called "christian" call yourself a sinner, and then continue to live in defeat. Instead of what the bible calls a Christian, a victorious "Saint". This guy is the reason the church is a failure today.

By God's grace, through our God given faith in the shed blood and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are justified. Faith without works is dead, but our works are the fruit of our new nature. God works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure and He has ordained the works that we are to walk in. We are not perfectly sinless in this life, which is why we need an Advocate with our Father in heaven, and why we are chastened from time to time. We have a new nature that cannot sin, but our flesh rises up in battle and so we must mortify the deeds of the body, daily, and we do by walking in the Spirit.

I stay home partially because I am disabled and can’t be out much..but the other part is that people changed when I went through cancer, I could see clearly and it was not good. Ppls faces turned into monsters and I could see how they hated me.

There are definitely self-righteous people who are trying to work their way to heaven, but the thing is, while we are to show love and point people to Christ, we are never told to accept sinful behavior. Attacking believers who obey the commandment for holiness is a major reason for the terrible condition of the churches, today. True believers are being forced out of the churches and replaced with worldly people who know nothing of repentance.
I agree with you except for the part of people thinking they can get to heaven by their works. At least I never met a single "Christian" who believed that, or loved their life that way. However, I do know for a 100% fact that you cannot get to heaven without good works. I read I everywhere I the bible, and especially in James 2, "faith without works is dead". Whoever this guy is talking about I'm not sure, never been in a church like that, and I've been a Christian fornover 30 years. What we have is just exactly the oppositein the church, embrace everyone and everything the world brings in the church. Never tell anyone they are wrong, or discipline them. Never tell anyone they are lost when they live like the devil, because they tellnyou they "prayed a prayer one time". Never oppose anything but holiness and never tell anyone they can't overcome sin. As a so called "christian" call yourself a sinner, and then continue to live in defeat. Instead of what the bible calls a Christian, a victorious "Saint". This guy is the reason the church is a failure today.

By God's grace, through our God given faith in the shed blood and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are justified. Faith without works is dead, but our works are the fruit of our new nature. God works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure and He has ordained the works that we are to walk in. We are not perfectly sinless in this life, which is why we need an Advocate with our Father in heaven, and why we are chastened from time to time. We have a new nature that cannot sin, but our flesh rises up in battle and so we must mortify the deeds of the body, daily, and we do by walking in the Spirit.

Some people, not all, would look at my life and say wow you do all these good works. You actively share the gospel every single day. You give money and time. You even go to church on some Sunday nights and some Wednesday nights. Someone would look at that and say well surely he’s going to heaven? I’m telling you the truth right now! I’m not doing one single thing to get to heaven. I have known for 33 years that heaven will be my destination. 60Now.I want to do all these things out of love and gratitude for my savior Jesus Christ. Whenever anyone tries to add anything to what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross. This is what they are doing. They are stealing what doesn’t belong to them. Jesus Christ deserves all the glory. Hebrew’s 12:14 … I believe when we walk in the spirit we are not to be offended by anything cuz we die to our flesh and we live in the spirit ! Be holy Means to be set apart ! And our faith will account for righteousness ! God is working in us daily , we are to deny ourselves and pick up our cross daily ! Only HE can sanctify us . I’m working towards fruits of the spirit ! I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. Jesus hear my prayers and please continue to give me strength.💕

I stay home partially because I am disabled and can’t be out much..but the other part is that people changed when I went through cancer, I could see clearly and it was not good. Ppls faces turned into monsters and I could see how they hated me.
