I love how NCT inspired a lot of people to be an idol and want to emulate their craft. In their debut, NCT’s music and their concept were very jarring for the usual SM stans and the general population; but now, their music has inspired a whole new generation. Their “neo” sound is very recognizable because “only NCT can do their music”. I love that NCT never compromised their style to fit the trend, instead they set the trends for others. They never compromised their style despite the criticisms of having only noise/construction music. Instead, they took pride in having a different sound that sets them apart from other K-pop groups. They took up their space in a very saturated K-pop industry, and they owned it. One time, I had one experience before with an Army friend. She was very surprised when I played a bunch of NCT songs during my birthday. She said she didn’t know that NCT has a wide range in music. I was very proud because NCT’s music never disappoints, especially their B-sides.
I loved see Xiaojun, Haechan, Mark, Jisung and Jaemin sunbaenim my boys need to be praised more. Principally Jaemin, he has grown a lot as an artist but people see him just as a handsome face and he is more than that
