Nice one Gavin. You're right the farmer is an easy target for europe and the environmental crew. They say about all the gasses farms produce, but never say how many gases farms clean. I came across a very interesting video from a farmer in tipperary I believe and he worked of a u.s model and calculated his farm was actually carbon neutral. He worked it out that the trees and grasses on his farm cleaned everything and even more than he produced. I'm not sure if I saved the video,I hope I did. Really fascinating. He used the u.s model as surprise surprise he couldn't find an Irish or european one to use. 😉
@@Canningfarms i agree. Changes can and should be made. By doing so it should benefit both farmer and environment. But looking to reduce the national herd all while other countries like Brazil increase theirs, and then to import their product into europe, now that's just comedy.

@@cdemo1186 yea like think we are going down by 600000 and Brazil has increased by 6 million in 5 years!
I know it is easy to be wise after-the-event but a cheap tarpaulin over that lime would have made life much easier for the spreader man.
