Finally we can see Long Lee's acting skills shine in this series. In his previews series his acting wasn't shining because the other actors were holding it back and the previous series were really terrible. Finally, seeing Long in a better and serious series wherein Long’s character is interesting and the actor, Long is given respect. Based on the pilot, the script is not cringy or embarrassing as Crazy Handsome Rich (I still shudder at how he ended up acting in that series or maybe it was intentionally meant to be embarrassing 🤷♀️) and Love Syndrome lll. I hope this series will be available to international viewers.
It felt like the plot kept shifting, like it seemed like the teacher and nurse were together, but if they were why wouldn't the teacher care about the nurse drinking or kissing someone else at the bar? It also seemed like one was jealous of the other when he was fighting the teacher, but like...he likes the nurse so why is he acting like that? Then I thought maybe the students would be the real main couple and it would be them working together to try and win the nurse/teacher only to end up falling for each other. But it doesn't seem like that's it either, which is kind of a shame as it would cutout the teacher/student relationship which always drives me a bit batty, because the student will say they love the teacher, but you think if they really loved them, they could wait until a relationship wouldn't potentially cost the person they love their career (especially as a trainee, if he gets fired for inappropriate behavior with a student so early on, whose going to hire him after that?). I hope it's at least 12 episodes to capture everything.
I think that Lee is a good actor, but unfortunately he gets stuck working crappy series. Well, Love Syndrome could've been a good series, but the studio did such a horrible job, that I couldn't get passed the first couple of episodes. Hopefully this series will change that for him and he can finally start getting better roles from a good studio. He would be great on a remake of Advanced Bravely or Beloved Enemy.
