Art Journaling For Beginners | Batching the Art Process & Why It's Beneficial + Collage Batching

- Art Journaling For Beginners: Batching Artwork is the process of making multiple versions of a theme at the same time. It's an efficient use of studio time and allows the artist to focus on the process of creating, rather than completeing a single piece of art. The idea is that you create mutliple versions of an idea, for example, creating 3 pieces focusing on making a background, using the same materials, at the same time. By doing this, you explore the materials or a them. From there, you can further add details to the individual pieces. The process is valuable for many reasons.
In today's video, I show the process for making a series of collage backgrounds on small papers.

Thank you. That's a great idea!

Welcome! I share your love of art as therapy. It's freeing to focus on the process and let the results happen or not. Considering yourself "artistic" is a state of mind that you develop from doing good, bad, and ugly art. ❤️
Great video. I love how everything turned out! Thank you💕
Thanks so much! 😊
Great tutorials!
Thank you!
What a great lesson, Daniella. Thank you so much!!
You're so welcome!
Thanks, Daniela! I’m especially intrigued by using the non dominant hand. I think that will be fun to try. How critical can I be if I’m drawing left handed?! 😉
Exactly! It takes the pressure off and allows you to be free.
Cool vide, thank you. Im going to give this a go.
Thanks!
Love this idea for my junk journals. Thanks❣️
