I'm American too, I also knew It was Danny Jones Because The voice, I think Judges must be deaf not to guess Him As Piranha But Then again look our version (USA) The Judges didn't guess Chris Daughtry As The Rottweiler Either.

I'm not the biggest McFly fan in the world (though I am a fan!), and I said it was Danny right from the very first episode he was on. 😊THAT tone in his voice is just unmistakeably him, though I did say he had more range than I thought he had, which was explained by him saying his range had expanded since starting the show. Love that none of the panel guessed it was him, except Davina who must be kicking herself that she changed her mind! 😂
I remember seeing Mcfly in Telford like over a decade and never realised how good Danny can sing. Honestly he was so good! I will say I wanted Bigfoot to win personally but series 5 of the Masked Singer Uk was the best ever, just topped series 2! Everyone was so good and so much fun (even non-singers were ace)!
I knew it was Danny, but I've seen a TV advert for Gillette Lab's razors, sung by Tom Grennan, and I was convinced it was Danny, until I found out differently, so I can see why you thought that. I was surprised, I thought no one else sounded like Danny.
