    Nice to watch again
    Some great photography and drone footage....
    With those surroundings , it would not be surprising to see Clint Eastwood come around the corner on his horse like a scene from a spaghetti western in 70 / 80' ....lol
    Stay safe ...and thanks for sharing

    Great drone and camera work. The sand road while appearing to be quite good must have been quite challenging with the steep descents.i can only say well done on the way you handle that big heavy GS.

    What a fantastic place. I absolutely love those tiny towns, I think that I would need to stay a night in each one and enjoy the food and wine. And then the countryside, absolutely marvellous. One day I am definitely going to get there on my bike.
    By the way, isn't great when we overcome our fears?

    Evora, I don't understand why you turn your engine off when you go down steep hills. I would've thought you would have more control of your motorbike with the engine running. But you made it down, which is the main thing and overcoming those fearful moments is always a good feeling.

    • @travelwithevora
      @travelwithevora  4 місяці тому +1

      @@MyGapYears Hi :) I do it so that I can ride slower, the GS already goes 15-20km/h without gas in first gear... so I would have to pull the clutch to avoid stalling downhill. This means I lose the braking effect of the engine. When the engine is off, I can use the two levers to brake the rear wheel (clutch) and the front wheel (brake). You have to get used to operating the clutch lever the other way round from the brake, but once you've got that down, it works very well.

    Please don’t switch the engine off on steep descents, as you have no engine braking, only the disc brakes and you have so much less control 👍

      Modern injected bikes still do give a tiny bit of fuel to the engine when in the overrun. You get the maximum engine braking when the bike is on gear but turned off, like Evora did.
