Granma's pose looks like she's asking you to grab her arthritis medication and I'm living for it. That pointer finger is so perfectly crooked, I can literally see the light tremor in her hand.
I really enjoyed how you brought life to this model, especially when doing those arms and legs. There's something in that little clumps and details that you brain sees and immediately says grandma skin. I'm amazed in your ability to transfer knowledge between all this mediums. I believe you already know this but you are really talented and passionate, that motivates me.
I don't frequently comment, but I just wanted to say I'm LOVING this series! I look forward to every episode of your game's journey and how your game and art is going to grow next!
When he said the creepiest thing the gran did was sit down and her legs were akimbo I got flashback to the mum In RE7 where she's bug crawling with the legs a kimbo and you see her adimon is unsettling af You know what, if the cavity was either pulsating or slowly rigging with very unsettling movements would really freak me out as it would be so uncomfortable to witness and you also draw me in at the same time
I just looked it up, I never saw that part of the game or at least my mind erased it but you're right and it's horrific 😭 Seems like a similar vibe Boro is going for here
Hi Boro, I'm from Kyiv and I've been watching you for several months now since that video about concept for The first witness. Your channel is one of those that keep me inspired in doing what I want during war. Love the way you talk, editing, unique style and just informative stuff. I rarely leave comments, just wanted to let you know.
Nice work, i did think you was going to do the infinity eye thing on the old man but in the grans chest and with no eyes, making the infinity concept more mysterious. Keep up the awsome work.
That would be so sick. To add onto that, in the last video’s comment section, @j r suggested using Unreal Engine’s portals to make the eyes much bigger on the inside. So now I’m imagining the enemies having various holes on their bodies that lead to somewhere entirely different, somewhere not meant for human eyes ~spooky sound effect~
@@bandamani That’s the impression I got from that other person’s comment. Their name is “j r” and I can’t tag them for some reason. It was under “Remodeling ‘Witness’ Eyes Using Blender Assets” At the time I am writing this, it was posted 2 days ago
I've never touched unreal myself - but I wonder if you could try some basic cloth or soft body physics on the fatty parts of the arms and legs to make her feel extra blobby in motion.
Dang, this is reeeaaally making me want to start learning Blender again (quarantine squashed my motivation and never picked it back up) Amazing work as always!
I never got this far into learning it myself but this has made me want to give it a shot. The whole node thing along with all the other tools was overwhelming to me, now I'm kind of piecing things together from these videos lmao
There is an advantage of doing so much detail in 3D rather than textures, you could 3D print your model. That said, I'm not sure who would want that creepy grandma in real life :P
Seriously love watching this series I find it so interesting and relaxing, I'm excited to see what you come up with! That chest cavity is something else and maybe lost my appetite a little on the face sculpting but that's a good thing
The Grandma is great and all but the first 1,000 people to use this link will get a 1 month free trial of Skillshare: skl.sh/borocg11221 :O

"the whole grandma is buttered up" I spit out my food XD
Oooh, she should have some creepy ass fingernails.
frrr that would be a great touch
I keep imagining a scene of this old woman where you find her on her back, sitting in a dark room, then you go to the front and see this atrocity.

That's a really cool idea actually!

@@whalehail6196 oh that sounds really cool actually, unreal engine can make the eyes have a tardis moment?

i feel like a very low-detail cloth physics fat would be relatively easy to implement?
disgusting. i love it.
21:10 I feel violated.

Bro, I think Little Nightmares would be a great inspiration for you, especially the creatures, I recommend.
Looking awesome! Can't wait to see the texturing process
Great work I hope you have ambient occlusion turned on, sweet model!
🥃
Grandma looked kind of cartoony and funny before all that detail work. Now she's starting to look genuinely horrifying. Love it!

The ammount of wrinkles and disgusting details in Grandma is incredible, i hate it (so it's perfect)
I am always so excited for your videos
what kind of horror game will this be?
Seriously love watching this series I find it so interesting and relaxing, I'm excited to see what you come up with!

Wow so creepy already looks great 😁👍
I recommend Auto Brush Bias ( blender 2.8+ addon) on gumroad when it comes to sculpting with alphas in Blender. Super useful!
Oh I see, it's a little invisible help for that displacement height. Interesting
nice fast upload
Lol this face is war haha
Aaaah I hate it in a good way
Second!
loving this developing journey a lot!! keep up the amazing work
I don't remember the details; but some time ago I saw some tutorials about using cloth brush to make skin wrinkles; might be worth looking into
Maybe it was me working on the Grandpa? I used it there :D
@@BoroCG Oh, alright then :)
ew
so cool! i'm excited to see more! also 14:46 was funny :D
