The Grant Garland Trio - Little Wing (J. Hendrix)

A friend once told me that once Eric Gales started playing his arrangement of Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing" in the 90's/2000's(?) that every musician in Memphis forgot how the original went. No argument here. Of course, we all do our own thing with it to some degree, hopefully. I first heard the "Gales arrangement" from Corey Osborn in the mid/late 2000's. That was maybe a year or so before his life was tragically cut short. I frequently think about him when I play this song.
