Mainer here - trust me, pretty much all of us were gobsmacked that Collins won reelection. Her opponent was a fantastic candidate who’d been polling well above Collins for practically the entire cycle… but then she ended up losing by like 6 points. It was quite the upset. Had we been able to elect Sara Gideon, Biden’s entire presidency would have been very, very different.
Like the podcast. But Leaving out Nebraska was a big omission. A senate rate that is surprisingly close, a house race in district 2 that might have a ton of split ticket voting and is highly competitive, and dueling abortion ballot initiatives. More compelling than a lot of the places you went to.
Why is the minimum sample size in order to be included in 538's aggregate only 100? Why do you regularly include data that's literally coming to you from two high school kids pretending to be a polling firm?
"...certain plant-based psychedelic drugs such as mushrooms." Mushrooms aren't plants!
That was a very witty Oregon Trail quip
Fun format! Wish yall had video.
Visuals would be good for the mapping the trip.

Thanks for continuing to ignore Osborn. If Tester loses and he wins, he’s Kingmaker. And by your own averages, he’s closer.
I’m surprised you guys didn’t talk about the Nebraska Senate race, which is currently the tightest race in the country.
Ohio?
Imagine actually believing that.

9:20 Come on, Galen, mushrooms are not plants! They are kingdom fungi, not plantae.
This is fantastic. Love the bit.
in Pennsylvania removing the avg flooders puts the race back. Where is was 2 months ago
One of the more fun episodes for sure. Liked it. Weirdly lots of kids toys ads.
UA-cam thinks half of 538 are kids content, might be leaking to the whole channel
You get to use that 15 on more traffic.

Is it possible for two high school kids who are biased towards Trump to conduct valid polls? Yes.
@@joebuck714 there is no evidence they have ever produce and accurate poll
What about Nebraska??
Why not travel by helicopter?
I enjoy your podcast but don’t try to be funny. Doesn’t work.
I liked it
