Kataragama Pada Yatra - Embarking on a 100 km solo journey through the Yala forest.
With just a few weeks remaining for the 2023 Pada Yatra, I would like to share my personal experience of completing the 2022 Pada Yatra as a solitary traveler.
Initially, I want to emphasize that my decision to undertake this journey alone is depicted in the accompanying video. However, I must clarify that I do not advocate or encourage others to undertake this expedition without company. The reasons behind this cautionary advice will become apparent upon watching the video.
This journey is undeniably demanding, with challenges that multiply for various reasons.
It is an expedition that offers ample opportunities for gaining valuable experience.
Today, I have uploaded the first video of this journey on UA-cam, and I will endeavor to upload the remaining videos within the next few Weeks, just before the commencement of the 2023 Pada Yatra.
