I own a 2023 Never Summer Proto FR, a 2023 Bataleon Fun.Kink, and a 2023 Lib Tech Dynamo. Bataleon Fun.Kink is a 4 flex and way nicer for buttering, all park, and can handle black diamond fine (bend your knees and you'll be fine). Never Summer Proto FR is what I take out, when I'm riding solo and want to freaking speedrun the entire mountain with an amazing amount of control. Not versatile. Not for beginners or most intermediate riders. So much control and so fast. Terrible park board. Lib Tech is a "C3 Camber" bomber. Chops through EVERYTHING. Okay for jumps. Not a jib board, but you can jib on it. Kudos for contrasting 2 very different boards IMHO. Want to have fun and are intermediate/advanced? Bataleon. Want to set new land-speed records with grace? Never Summer boards with 7-8 flex (i.e., that board ain't bending much). I love my quiver because getting these 3 boards = fun no matter what trails and what conditions.
Very good comparison. I compared harpoon against jones project x, which also have 3d spoon and camber as Party wave. It is so difficult to decide which one is better. For me it is more like the mood which one i want to ride. One Day this other Day the other one.
Party wave all day. Severely underrated board. It does almost everything
