You're the reason i got my gx80 with the 20mm f1.7 and after a year of using it everyday i can say that i dont regret my decision, got a leather thin strap to carry it everywhere and since im in Croatia we go to coffee shops and sit there all day it's a perfect compact camera to capture small moments of joy!
OUTSTANDING. OUTSTANDING. OUTSTANDING. TEO, it is a joy watching you ... Absolutely LOVE your content and presence. I have the same camera, Lumix GX85 and the 20mm 1.7 lens ... Breathtaking! Without a doubt, you are one of those rare gems in this youtube content creator world. Supremely talented. The effort you must go to, to deliver this level of outstanding visual and storytelling magic is beyond breathtaking. You are just WOW! Warm regards from Melbourne 🇦🇺
@andresbrand2585 haha that would be so cool. I've recently started shooting film again (and posting videos about it) and this is my favourite film photography channel ☺️
I really appreciate how the structure of the video stayed the same even with digital! Its nice to see you still take value in each of your photos and take us along for that journey, even with your warm up shots.
Hi Teo, thank you for sharing this photowalk with me, with us. You make me like the photos I take more and more, not because they follow whatever photography rule there is but because they mean something to me. Thanks, Teo!
switched to fullframe since my gx80 gave up already. i'm not gonna lie. gx80 gave me the emotions i needed from a photo. and the fact that you can shoot it wide open in broad daylight is so much fun. shooting wide aperture in daylight with a full frame is such a hit or miss. i never experienced that with the gx80.
Such a nice video! I've been following the channel since gx80 and I've already sold mine and I miss it! I loved the video! Maybe I'll buy it again one day, thanks you Teo
What are your color grading settings for these “calm photography” vlogs? They’re so warm and vivid but not in a nasty, overdone way- I love the nostalgic feel!
Love the vibes and aesthetic of this video! I'm curious but, what questions do you ask yourself when you shoot? It seems like you shoot anything and it turns out to be amazing ahah. Anyway keep up the great work! Truly inspiring!
As a Korean viewer, glad to hear Korean BGM. Your color is so pleasing. How could you make that beautiful color with 8 bit camera and just gopro8!! Amazing~
It’s just a matter of personal preference, there is no right or wrong here. Personally I find digital photographs to have much too much detail, hence I prefer to shoot on film. But when I do shoot digitally I then add a lot or grain to emulate the features that I like of film👍🏼
There's a little too much green in the sky and White Balance for Gold especially if you shoot it on high-end gear. Usually the green shows up more on cheaper lenses.
Nice video, as always. This time I found it a bit distracting the bossa nova song, however. Being from Brazil and speaking Portuguese, I can say this song about the lively chaos of the State of Bahia and the young pickpockets has nothing to do with the peaceful spring in Austria 😅
Hi, I bought a film camera after watching your video. It is a Mamiya ZE2. Since it is second-hand, there are some problems. Its shutter speed seems to be unable to be adjusted. No matter which gear I adjust it to, the final shutter speed depends on my hand speed, just like M gear. I want to know how to solve it.
Another great relaxing video! Love your calm voice and photography skills man. I am curious and wanted to ask you, how much time did it take you to edit this 17min video?
So happy you enjoyed it!☺️ Hmm depends which part you mean? The actual editing only or all the Broll and script writing and recording all together? All together I’d say this took round about 40 hours? This one was actually much easier and simpler than many of my recent videos because there’s way less B-roll and the script and editing was much more straightforward. Also please keep in mind that I work quite meticulously with a lot of attention to detail which takes time of course. I could get to 80% of this end result in much less time probably🤔 The last 20% take a lot of time, but that’s what I like to produce☺️🙏🏼
@@teocrawfordThank you very much for the detailed answer! I mean the actual editing work in Premiere Pro (sorting out your video clips, putting your timeline together, adding music, voice, sound effects and color grading) but your answer summarizes everything pretty well. I have come to realize that producing a good video like this one require a lot of time and patience. Always worth it in the end :)
Awesome photos! What is the stylistic reason for leaving the graininess/noise in? To get a more vintage feel? Sorry if I missed your explanation in the video.
Hi, i have watched your video when you visiting Japan, i was inspired and bought the camera, LUMIX GX 80. Any camera setting idea as my lighting doesn’t turned out too well. Thank you.
That is correct, on a bright day like this I mostly just adjust my shutter speed. Sometimes I’ll close the aperture though to get a deeper depth of field👍🏼
Not sure if you already made a video but can you show the Lumix 80 using flash. I wanna see if it would be a good for night shoots like going to a party or something. As always love your videos!!! 😇❤
@@teocrawford ah thank you for the reply~ While hiking without our hero7 black in various seasons while shooting 4K I’ve experienced shutdowns or pink/green bars across frames throughout the captured footage. Tried many different “fixes” but no solutions yet. Just have to shoot very short clips. No fun >
@@youngsahm03 Never managed to fix that on mine and reverted to 1080 on it. Only way to prevent it from overheating. I have the Hero 11 now and it does a bit better with the overheating issue. Still happens on really hot days here in Spain, but it definitely does better than the Hero 7.
For photography it doesn’t really matter in my opinion. They’re both fine for that👍🏼 I suppose you could get the Sony if you want the bigger sensor, however if you’re on a budget you might want to choose the Lumix, because the MFT system in general is cheaper, so if you decide to buy an extra lens in the future you‘ll find cheaper lenses than when shooting with Sony. However if you shoot video too I thiiink you might want to choose the Sony. I believe the a6000 has pictures profiles such as cine or even slog, right? The lumix sadly doesn’t so that’s a big minus for video with the Lumix🤷🏻♂️
@@teocrawford thank you so so much for your answer, teo! i will take it into consideration as i continue my reasearch before the purchase. your videos are one of the main factors that made me want to get a digital camera, keep doing the great work that you do! you're amazing!
Sony has the phase detect auto focus so that gives it a slight advantage. But no touchscreen. Gx85 1. Looks cool 2. More features with regards to video plus 4K if you’re interested in that.
Lovely video. Teo, do you shoot on any compact cameras? Like the ZS200 or Sony RX100 VII? Curious to get your thoughts on a compact camera for travel photography.
The Sony is a fantastic all-rounder. I‘ve used it for photography a lot (you can check out my older fog-photography videos). But personally I prefer something smaller for days like these, hence I decided to shoot with the Lumix👍🏼
I watched many of your videos and I didn’t have that answer? Is this video shot with the LUMIX GX85? Or it’s a different camera and it’s just the photos?
