I was able to get the apps on Nvidia shield through play store but too many ads

You life saver. Just taken delivery of a Kinhank G1 today to replace a Firestick and had the total shock when installing ITVx to see the screen you show in this vid. Just about to resign it to the trash can and luckily spotted your excellent vid before doing so. Thks so much. But Why with these Android TV boxes especially like the G1 that has Chromecast and Netflix cert that these essential apps for any UK family home are blocked, the more we learn the more we realise we don't know.

Hi! I loaded the ch 4 app worked great . But now it comes up with geo blocked. I use it on nvidia shield with a uk ip. Any suggestions.
Change your time zone to london, use your uk vpn and it should work.

The downloader app isn't working for me when I go to download something all it says is connected but it doesn't actually connect I tried uninstalling it reinstall on it and do allow permissions it's not letting me install anything so any suggestions thanks

It doesn't work on any of my Android devices, Nvidia Shield, Mi Box, or Chromecast with Google TV. I get a parsing error.
Update, this was my fault. I had left the remnants of a previous "fix" for the Channel 4 problem on all three devices, which conflicted with this new fix. Working perfectly now on all devices.
Just wasted a shit load of time loading these, ITVX problem parsing (file corrupt) C4 screen white out can hear ads then program, C5 just too many ads uktv same problem, don't do BBC, I have previously put the ITVX on to a firestick lite in the bedroom that works well and blocks the ads, hooray! But trying to load on to 4k firestick, just won't have it, developer options, ADB Debugging, on, Apps from Unknown Sources, on, maybe needs update?
Question....Does a person have to be a new customer of ipvanish in order to receive such discounts, or can an existing customer also receive those discount? Thanks!

Nokia streaming box 8010 just got one from German Amazon
Can you get the Onn box in the UK without having to spend 3 to 5 times its actual retail price? Can't get it in Canada yet unless I order it on ebay or Amazon and at best their twice retail plus a ridiculous amount for shipping. I am done with Fire devices though so a change is in the near future for me.
@@chrismurphy7105 I just posted a ridiculously long comment/rant about Fire device's and how their not entirely yours as Amazon can change/delete and alter your programming at will. I bought a Shield in 2017 and it was around the $300 range ( Canadian dollars) and it still outperforms damn near everything on the market, new or used. Have you bought any of the new Shield tv devices like that cylinder style one that hides behind the tv or a new pro version? If so how are they compared to a 2017 Shield. Thanks in advance. Channel 4 on Nvidia Shield in Canada, with London UK stream doesn't work.
I had a similar issue. There is a further step needed. You must change your time zone to London as well as your VPN location to London. It works for me on my Shield
