Hi folks, just wanted to say a big thank you for taking the time to watch our film, as well as the kind words and feedback. It's nearly three years since we began shooting the film during our final year of university and I've come a long way since then, as both an actor and writer. In spite of its flaws, I think we did a decent job, given our financial and logistical limitations. For those interested, you can find a link in the description to Down There by the Train, another western/gangster short film I produced (my personal favourite of those we've made).
Best Western I've stayed in for a while. Seriously though. Outstanding lighting, camerawork, direction, acting, the whole flipping bit up to the ending in suspense. Great work y'all.
Wow, what a cast of great actors. Everyone plays their part really well. Big props to the Deputy Marshal.
All of theses short western films you guys put into is great 👍 story. Should add a part two. To finish the story.
When the credits came up, it should have come away to an old woman telling her daughters that was how she met their father. She goes on, "I knew I would always be safe with him, because I knew I could always woop his ass."

Great story and striking shots.
Many aren't aware of the plight of the Irish , by England & after imigration to the US; why? Because we didn't bitch & moan & blame, we worked hard and overcame it, we were tough as hell & demanded respect, not pity. We never used the past persecutions as a forever never ending source of excuses; Irish Live Matter By God. 🍀 🍻✌
In fairness, tough as they had it, there was never any widespread discriminatory legislation against the Irish as there was to blacks in the post-civil war south; although some so-called nativists would have liked there to be. A good example of that occured in territorial Montana in the mid-1860s. Highly recommend the book Immortal Irishman by Timothy Egan. It covers the topic extensively, not to mention telling the incredible true story of the life of Thomas Francis Meagher.
Excellent movie. My only criticism is that they all looked too clean. Unfortunately the Irish weren't always welcome in the USA and were sometimes seen as being only one step above African Americans. There were anti-Irish riots in some American cities before the Civil War.
Being white also helped us assimilate into a white dominated culture in the US. I’m all for celebrating our Irish heritage, but no need to denigrate others.
I absolutely agree with you, we are lucky the Irish never carry a chip on their shoulders, as a Greek with an Irish grandmother, I know how Irish Catholics were treated in the U.K.

As a Greek I have a great love of the Irish, as ancient as us, with a great history. Very true the crimes against the Irish at that period in time was barbaric to say the least.
In the U.K back then they where listed below dogs on no admittance signs. And yes they don't harp on about it because they know it could never be compensated for, as money would do nothing for the ones that suffered.

I’d never heard of a Spaghetti Western shot in Co Antrim before! That was very interesting and enjoyable. Well done.
Well Jessica Leen (Kathleen) really stood out in this, she was perfect in every aspect, the others paled before her. 10/10 lady.

I agree great little short. Only complaint would be costumes, but that’s really splitting hairs. These low budget films are killing it for me! So many GREAT Westerns being made. Keep up the good work..

To start a fire with flint and steel, you place the charcloth on top of the flint near the
edge and strike downward with the steel onto the edge of the flint.This casts sparks onto the charcloth and ignites it. Place the charcloth into a tinder bundle and blow gently into the charcloth. Should ignite the tinder bundle.

Hmmm, seem you can't make a film about the "old west" without a modern chemtrail in the sky at 8:59. On another point, our hero seems remarkably well shaven after days of travel on the lonesome prairie.
I've known several men over the years who couldn't grow facial hair if they wanted.

Hello ! As a French old woman, I missed the English subtitles. But how much did I enjoy the smell of the pine trees, that water so cold, the smell of the gun powder. You called it a decent job, Congratulations ! You wrote a splendid page on the western films history.

Title doesnt fit, unless the girl was the chaperone, but good show. The premenitions seemed out of place and confusing with the memories.
And the translation option? I do not understand english.
