This is it! Time to build a Green Ranger helmet and complete your Green Ranger Cosplay! This is a great, easy way to make a Green Ranger helmet! There are not a lot of tutorials on how to make your own Green Ranger helmet on youtube and the ones that are out there do not actually teach you how to do it yourself. But, never fear...this tutorial is here! In this video, you will see how I made my 1st Green Ranger cosplay helmet and I teach you all the steps. ENJOY!

Great job sir! Simple but looks damn spot on. My grandson wants to be the blue ranger... what’s up with that! Lol. Anyways with some tweaking to the visor area and making the helmet have more of a point I think I might be able to make it for him. Thank you and I’d love to see you do more builds. Can u please tell me when do I use the 2mm foam? Don’t see where in shield. Just finished that pattern (awesome)!!! Will be making helmet after as well as other accessories. Hello! Glad my tutorials and patterns are helping! The only time I used 2mm foam for the shield is the detail piece that goes under the collar. And to be honest, it is not necessary. If you don't do it, no one will ever know. Hope this helps

@@angierose111 any good quality acrylic paint is good. Some stores sale flexible paint that does not crack which makes it good for costumes. I am not home now but can send a name brand later

Yes, I am actually doing a lot of research and learning so I can make tutorials on the Power Ranger boots and other boots for cosplay.

What do you suggest if I'm trying to adapt this pattern for a smaller head? Any tips or tricks you can suggest?
When printed at 100% it will fit head size of 23/24" so you can scale it down however much you need to fit a smaller head.

Does it matter what foam color you use to build this? I understand it will be painted but does a certain color work best for painting certain colors?
It does not matter what color foam you start with as long as you prime it first

How big should the patterns be?
It should be big enough to slide over your ears. Take a measurement of the circumference of you head and that is what you go by. You can print my pattern and tape it together and do a test with the paper and see if it fits then adjust from there
