For anybody that might be curious as to how well these work, I buy them from the Amish all the time, and I LOVE them! They last a lot longer than you'd think for it being tulle. In fact, most of the ones I've had to toss was more because my husband went ham on them and left them to get gross and smelly then actual wear and tear. My favorite pot and pan tool!

These are the best scrubbers ever. I put mine in the top rack of the dishwasher and they have lasted for years. Great instructions, easy to make. Thanks so much!

I have to say I didn't know you could use tulle to crochet. I personally think this is really creative and awesome and it is literally the best kitchen scrubbie material.

I never thought of using tulle, but it sounds brilliant! It shouldn't stretch, and the netting will scrub well. Can't wait to try this!

A very easy way to keep your yarn from rolling everywhere is to use a clean, empty 2 liter bottle. Simply cut a slit large enough to slip your yarn into...feeding your working end through the pour opening. Also very handy if you have cats, lol

I found myself mesmerized by your awesome nails! I’ve never seen any like them! Monarch butterfly? Scrubby tutorial was so easy, I never dreamed of crocheting tulle! This is my 3rd time watching this video, not because it’s difficult, but because watching you crochet and listening to your voice is very relaxing. I’ve been very ill for way too long and I wasn’t able to do much of anything, much less crochet. I’m finally well enough to begin again and I happened upon this video while searching for some that would be easy, interesting and quick enough to hold my attention long enough to complete something and your video was perfect! My son went shopping for me and had no clue whatsoever what tulle was so he sent me pictures with his cell phone and picked out two shades for each just to shake it up a little! Thank you so much for this wonderful easy pattern and instructions. I am so excited to get my life and hobbies going again! I’m headed to your other videos to see what else I might be able to do! 💜🤗😜

Thank you for sharing! Your video was a lot easier to follow than other, eventhough you did go a little fast. What I loved about your video is can actually see the step and where the hook goes in! Love it! I didn't have a needle at hand so I left the tails long enough to make a knot for a loop to hang them for air dry! Thank you

I'm so happy to have found your video! I've been using scrubbies my aunt makes for years and they're very similar to this. I just figured out the basics to be able to crochet other things, but being able to make these would be super convenient! I really like the way you make them. Definitely saving this to come back and try making them. Thank you!

This was the first video I watched making the scrubbers. I seen other videos that used 2 or 3 inch wide tulle. Usually they had cut it down to that size, making the tulle weak and warned about tearing and it looked frayed. So far I've made 3 using your easy to follow video. They are thick and sturdy and I love them. Thanks for making it.

Your pattern is the best. When I was in Hobby Lobby last week, I noticed a yarn that said scrubbie yarn and it didn’t have those little fuzzies on it that make it impossible to see your stitches. The yarn is smooth and a bit rough but it doesn’t bother your hands. I used your pattern and that yarn and voila....a scrubbie was born!! I’m giving these as stocking stuffers. My adult kids love them. Thanks.

I also had a hook with a very short metal area. Used a very sharp, small blade (i.e., Swiss army knife or Exacto blade) to cut back the rubber part. Now, that crochet hook is one of my favorites to use! It made all the difference in the world.

A single skein of yarn or roll of tulle might seem expensive, but think of how many scrubbers you can make. I think that the overall cost per handmade scrubber would be much less than the store-bought ones. I'll have to keep track of that. 🤔

I like these! These would be great with a loop on the end, so they can hang to dry - either a small one for hanging on a little hook, or one large enough to hang over the faucet.
Would make nice face scrubbers or larger ones for the bath, made in cotton or cotton blend. These just need to properly air dry.

I just started mine & it's bigger also! Looking at your tulle in the video, the strand looks more narrow than mine. I'm thinking if i used half the width, 3" instead of 6" it would look more like yours. Are we supposed to half the width of the tulle?? Awesome video tho :)

What an awesome idea! I have lots of tulle left from my niece's wedding that I bought to decorate the church pews. I'm making a lot of these. Thank you. I had to subscribe.
    PS edit:
Thank you for the information on the butterfly nails. I admired them and was pleasantly surprised you linked to their information. Monarchs are my favorite butterfly. Thank you.
Happy New Year! All the best in 2020.

Love your pattern . I would try a stand up paper towel holder to hold the stuff much easier for it to flow freely with no falling over . That way you can make more in shorter time just a friendly idea. :)

Yarn butler is the best, it's like a paper towel holder but better! It's made for this! I just threw this together to get a video up. In all honesty I throw my tulle in a laundry basket. It's easier to handle a few feet from the roll.

Don't have a size 10 hook, only 9 and 11.5. Used the 11.5. It's bigger and more open but its going to work just fine. My daughter thinks it will work very well as bath scrubby, I agree.

I love this scrubby i have 1 thats only 1 that i use to scrub paint of my skin and then a double one i use for dishes. My hubby doesnt like the feeling of the scrubby material so he still uses a sponge but he washes the dishes most of the time so i let him use what he wants. 😁
