How can you do any of that in the first few days with an inch thick bandage preventing movement

instructions sound too rushed. Most folks are not told to walk that much. 5 min walks 2 to 3 times a day in the first 3 weeks. ( thats mostly in the yard taking them for a pee ) .
Then build up in the 4th and 5th.

We can only do quick wee every couple of hours.

Actually using a tplo dog would be useful our boy is only 3 days in and is only just able to go to the loo and is awkward and visibly in pain. He was released to soon and couldn’t get up for the first 24 hrs due to residue epidural and continually weed himself. Lucky this was the second surgery and I had a bit more experience.

I liked the hock (ankle) and knee range of motion examples but for the hip extension I have had MedVet and other vets mention for that and the others that pulling the leg wasn't ideal compared to pushing outward from above or around the affected area. I guess like positive vs. negative resistance maybe? Or less risky perhaps? Either way I see a lot of comments about 2nd surgery. I have heard 2.5% tear meniscus and others having plate removal afterwards which is where my dog is at now.

I was told wait 3 to 5 days before going through the range of motion exercises.

I was told to wait until the staples were removed after 2 weeks before starting these exercises

Wasn’t told to do them at all, just test it as much as possible
