I think I mentioned that after crocheting short length kinky hairs at the front that made the baby hair, I trimmed the hairs shorter... that’s all 💖

Hi Sarah and Amarachi, I used Noble Gold but it’s been so long and I would suggest you do your market findings to know which brand is best for such style incase the brand I used has lost their touch of lots of fake gas saturated the market.
I cut into 2 the first 2/3 lines at the back depending on how close your lines are. 💚💚

No I did not but if you are considering doing so, you might need to add another layer of the Net/lace you are sewing

That’s the Net I sewed on the wig cap right....Yea sure!
But remember I used it cos I feel the crown area isn’t strong enough to withstand tugging.
It can also be used for purpose of the wig blending with the skin tone.
So yes it can be sewn on any wig cap

I just played around it, brushing some in with the braid and a little part coming out to my forehead to blend with my own real baby hairs

It’s called net in the markets where I’m from especially when they told it’s for wig.
I’ll recommend you walk into a fabric store rather than online so you use the clip I showed in the video to get the right material.

Do you mean the Net I sewed on the crown part of the wig cap? If so, it can be gotten from those that sell clothing materials or even shops where hair products are sold. These hair stores usually have wig friendly colours that they selected already from shops that sell cloth materials.

@@TheLadyrella If you are considering making a wig, it is advisable to buy the fabric from a beauty supply shop. Tulle for wig making is called Swiss lace and it is sold exclusively at beauty stores.
I should agree with you on that cos the net I use in my videos kind of feels different from the ones I see nowadays online.
However the one I use in my videos was bought long ago in like a yard each from diff shades and I got them from a clothing material store at Wuse Market here in Abuja. That was around 2017.
I’m running out of the net and when I’m ready to re-purchase I had plans of looking for the type you talking of. Thanks, I’ll def look into hair stores when the time comes 💜💜

Did you cut out the original part beneath the lace you added?
No I didn’t I just needed a right shade of net to be at that area but if you want to, you can go ahead and cut it off.
Just make sure the net you use is strong enough or you double/triple the layers of net to make it strong enough so there’s no tearing.
