If you watch the video where Raura and Rinon introduce each other during the 2012 nendo, you'll hear Hinata behind the camera speak English to them. Rinon tries to repeat what she said but flubs it. It's adorable.
A wild Aiko-chan appears! She really surprised me the most in this video. Funny how she zeroes right in on the camera (maybe it caught her attention because the guy was speaking English). :D It's nice how they can go out and just be normal people walking around.
Lucky, getting to not only encounter, but then have a conversation with Hinata like that. I'm surprised she wasn't in disguise all things considered. The guy filming may not have known, but I'll bet there are plenty of Japanese people who do and there's always the risk of running into the wrong kind of fan. This guy was a bit awkward, especially when he made himself look like an idiot by trying to speak Japanese and then proceeding to admit he had no idea what he was saying, but he seems harmless. On the other two, I know exactly where that photo session was done and have actually been to that exact spot. The chance that the guy filming in the video would be there at the exact same time they were shooting their photos is astronomical considering they were on tour at the time and had a very strict schedule to keep if they were following normal tour scheduling. I don't recognize the area from the one with Yui and Moa in street clothes, not enough landmarks to identify. Also, I could die happy if I encountered Yui, Moa, or Suzuka and I am very good at identifying faces I've seen before and voices I've heard before. I often have to mention this much when I tell a voice actor at a convention about being able to identify them immediately so it doesn't sound like I mean they aren't using a different enough voice. I would know immediately if I saw those three, but I would be subtle if I tried to interact at all, maybe flashing a quick fox sign if we make eye contact and that's it. Wouldn't want to inconvenience them.

i hate to say it but that "lucky guy" is good looking handsome guy, blonde with blue eyes, so i guess it was little bit hard for a girl like Hinatachan not trying to help him, specially because she's the one who knows english very well among their friends.

While there are certainly elements of parasocial obsession issues concerning celebrities, and scandals about things that shouldn't really be anyone else's business, the general Japanese culture seems to have an exceptionally strong emphasis on respecting privacy, especially for someone they don't actually know personally.
the guy is jakenbakelive. hes pretty famous IRL streamer but doesnt know who hinata was. he usually goes up to ppl and use questions like directions as ice breakers to talk to em and hang out on a daily basis. so yea he knows what hes doing but he really didnt know who she was. i think there was about 5k ppl watching his stream and only 3 ppl pointed out it was hinata.
Japanese names are customarily flipped to Western Order when writing in English or any other Western language. Sakura Gakuin itself does this with the girls' names more often than not. In other words, you're technically correct, but you're also very very wrong.
Wrong? Sakura Gakuin is NOT a WESTERN company, and it's not a worldwide company, you don't have right to write their name in Western way. You just have right to write they name in English if you have contract or business dealing with them, own their personal info or career (Like FIFA own Japan national team matches, or Babymetal world tour's partners) if you don't have any matter with Japanese( even Korean and some countries), write their name in their country way Btw this is not even Sakura Gakuin channel, so shut the fk up :))
Hinata was very nice helping out a total stranger but she needs to be careful with creeps like this guy. Like others pointed out he was getting unnecessarily close to her on the pretext of getting directions. She shouldn't be giving out her twitter handle name to strangers on the street.
The guy talking to Hinata san comes off like a creepy manipulative westerner. Very stereotypical. And he keeps touching her phone trying to get her used to him being close. Very cringey and manipulative. I don’t care for this guy at all. But the other random encounters were awesome! MoiMoi somewhere in Europe and Aiko san just passing by on the street!
