The yellow 1x2 brick with holes is from set 614 and 692 so they are vintage and those modified plates that kind of looks like the foot of an AT AT walker might have been just that but i remember the first millennium falcon having them as landing gears.
what trays are those, going through this now with my childhood and some bulk stuff, and currently processesing things, Boat hulls, so many old bulky pieces
So many big old parts! I use several variations from Amazon whichever are cheapest. They are all roughly the same too. Here’s the link to one! Ruboxa Clear Drawer Organizer,... www.amazon.com/dp/B0B5FHSWKT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Timely content for me. I'm never sure how to organize the large, uncommon Lego parts organized as they are just in a tote currently. Do you sort your technic parts?
I just got back into Legos last week, and discovered your channel today. My dilemma is whether or not to mix a tote of roughed up bricks with my family's fairly pristine bricks. I just washed a tote of Legos someone gave me for my kids from over a decade ago. But after washing them and comparing them to the Legos we already have, these washed bricks are in rough shape. Dents and dings and not shiny anymore. What would you do? Would you combine them?
This is a REALLY great point to bring up. At first when I started collecting bulk, I didn't care or really see a point, but now, I probably wouldn't have done that. It's quite a bit of work to check out every part for it's condition, but worth looking over and keeping "used" parts from "newer" parts. I hold onto some of the more beaten up bricks if I can use them for structure building ex. bricks to use that will get covered up later. At the very least, I would definitely sort out old light/dark grey and discolored white bricks and keep those separate. It can be a bit of a pain to sift through it after they're combined. Hope this is helpful! Thanks for watching and good luck!
back to the never ending process of sorting :D
Always adapting and changing! Keeps it spicy!
those larger pieces with the rubber bands are literally just rubber band holders. i've gotten many in technic sets. nice video.
Ooooh funny! Thank you!

Oh excellent! Yeah I thought it might be vintage. Thanks for the deets!
I had one of those in set 911, when I was a kid. It was a vehicle building set, so had lots of construction parts like cranes and digger buckets.
Ahh I see! Thanks Guano!

@@JJJBricks Thanks for the helpful tip. I will keep them separate, then. I love working with shiny, crisp bricks.
