I know how to make an easter egg hunt for tweens and teens.... each child has an EGG COLOR HUE..for plastic eggs..they need to only gather their own color...and not give away the location of other eggs.. THEN...I put a dollar in each egg....but you could put 50 cents..or snacks..with coins (you can metal detect to find "lost" eggs if it comes to that) I had difficult to please teenagers when I came up with this..and low and behold..even my 16 year old...got a smile on his face...and went after his 30$ worth of eggs... So..I hid the color schemed eggs...with the difficulty custom for that child. This way...kids are not in competition for eggs...they have their own eggs to find...Because I hid the eggs really hard ( I took a photo of each hidden egg place...so we could locate any undiscovered eggs..since they have money in them) You could also have a cooperative project..that each child gets a few puzzle peices..and when the puzzle is put together...there is a clue...for a bigger collective gift (a gift used by many kids..like a game etc) You could dress each child..in their egg color..just to keep things straight...and tell them to leave the others hidden..so they feel special because they have a secret...for another child..see ?

jasmine Craven he’s a kid. All kids cry. He really wanted the eggs but the bigger kids beat him to it, it’s only natural he’d cry but then he got over it and went to find other eggs. That’s how he was a good sport. If he wasn’t a good sport he would have stormed off and not finished finding eggs but he stayed and kept looking
I volunteer in a preschool with 3 and 4 year olds, and a couple of them cried when we did the easter egg hunt. So, the teacher firmly told them that they can't cry when they don't get their own way and kids who consistently are bad sports get time outs. If three year olds can get that message, their seven year old should. They enable his bad behaviour by not nipping it in the bud.

Named after, well my bf and I (Jane) and your very own Emmi, because she's so amazing, I knew when I had a daughter, I'd name her after her as an example of how amazing a girl can be. And she's already doing it! 💖 thanks for the inspiration and thanks to Emmi for being,well herself
