I love this scent. Unfortunately the entire origin story is a big marketing lie. The fragrance simply was perfumed by Pierre Bourdon not Olivier Creed! According to the book (The ghost perfumer). A must read if you’re into Creed fragrances. It doesn’t harm the quality and beauty of the fragrances, but it shines light on the true artist behind the fragrances not the fraud who’s claiming the credit. Same story with Green Irish tweed, Mellisime Imperial, Silver Mountain Water. All created by Pierre Bourdon.
Though one? Erolfa is more mature. While it Millesime Imperial is a younger fragrance with many clones. Guess I wear Erolfa more often 🤷. 55 -45 in favor of Erolfa. Thanks for watching 👊
Hello Peter Sir. I’ve been absent but I haven’t forgotten about you. This was such a great video to watch. Thanks for the information and the background about this fragrance. This is the kind of fragrances I love to wear and now I want to go and try this at the store. Hopefully I’ll love it and I’ll make this my first Creed. Take care Peter, sir and again Thank you!
Love this scent. If you can find a vintage 125 ml bottle do your self a favor and pick that up. The ambergris in the pre reformulated bottles is to die for. Its what makes creed creed. I feel like creed is kind of a company wandering through the desert RN. Their old work is fantastic. Their new work is meh. Hopefully the blackrock cash infusion gets them back on track and they get back to what makes them so special. REAL ambergris (or whatever creeds patented ambergris base is) charge more for it us creed fanatics will pay. Just stop putting out the trash of the last few years like aventus cologne. Its pathetic. I would rather pay 500 bucks for a quality product than 200 bucks for creeds greed. And i love creed is the sad part of seeing this happen. Sigh -Ramsey
@@ScentTrail I saw you replied and was expecting the "polite youtuber" kind of comment not being too hard on the Creed guys but instead I read "agreed" lol love it. I have no idea about Creed stuff btw, only tried the aventus and honestly I dont find it that special for its price, too expensive here in south america at least. Anyway, keep it up, brother.
I love Aventus Cologne. To me it is a better all-around fragrance than Aventus. I find the quality exceptional on all of the Creeds I own. You may be more discerning than I am regarding the older releases. I hope Blackrock maintains stringent quality.
@@ScentTrailAre there any fragrances besides other Creeds that have a similar style and quality as Erolfa that you could recommend to me? The only one I have been able to find so far is Loumari Porthole. I'm thinking fresh juicy citrus and fruits without being too herbal , spicy, or powdery.
Can’t wait to try this and decide to buy it or not but basing from your review I think there’s a good chance I’m going to love it. Btw, you look good. Keep it up. ✌🏼👍👍
Erolfa is one of my favorites from the House of Creed. Should be a soft to moderate projection with wiffs throughout 5 to 6 hr. It is elegant, therefore, it is not going to be a beast. Make sure the 2013 was stored properly. After all it is almost 10 years old. Hope I helps. 🙃
Erolfa it's my favorite creed and the ambergris is amazing 👏 my friend stay well 🙋♂️
💯 agreed, you do the same. 🤙
Very well described.
Thanks Milad🤙
