That was a pleasant surprise! Really enjoyed this one. Great acting, interesting story, beautiful scenery, and just all around well put together. I recommend.🤠
For people living on the frontier, they sure do not take care of their tools. They are hard to replace if broken. The mountains aren't that high and they're too clean cut. Take a lesson from The Revenant.

Incredible movie. I sure did enjoy this one. Greatly moving emotional portrayal. Cannot say anything more that could be revealing. Watch it. If you don't enjoy it by the end you must have had something else to do?

Not very realistic, the story dragged, too many pauses in dialogue, continuity poor. but portrayed brotherly love!
Good, only in parts. Despite their alleged privations & outdoor hardships, they always look quite spruce in their clean, cleverly-coutured collection of furs.
It is really good movie that reflect and lead me to know about how brave and stubborn on the confronted many serious problems of American people for their settlement in the United States before becoming the great nation now a day.

Thw American people are the greatest people that have ever lived..
They were both murderers from the films beginning. So the fact hardships followed them from then on does not necessarily mean the frontier was hard. Had they transgressed both Indian and White peoople's laws.

Otherwise, loved it, wolves howling to start, remind me, how we restored ("legalized") the wolf in the Rockies, again, with the governor naming the first two cubs after me, Jon and Jane, then a gold mine, the following summer, ha😂

if your going to make a realistic mountain man movie, pay attention to the hands. These guys look like they've just left a manicurist. Mountain men hands are dirty, nails are crusted and broken. The dirt from building fires, skinning is ingrained in their hands

Seen this movie. It's decent. They try to make it look authentic but most of the time everything is to clean and they neglect to have steam coming from their breath in certain scenes. Plot is good, acting decent. Cinematography could have been better. Blurry in some scenes. Sound is good. Good for 1 watch but not a second. See ya..
