Thank you so much for making this video. Initially when i was taking the screws off to clean mine, both the spring and the secondary blade dropped but i only seen that the spring dropped not the other metal piece. It wasn't until you begin assembling the clippers back together did i realize i was missing a piece 🤣 ended up finding it under my bed. Again, thank you so much.

Wonderful video just saved me a lot of time and a panic attack lol. As for the sound I found that they are louder when they have more battery power aka if it's quiet it needs a charge or keep it plugged in. It's just how the motor is. Some motors are quieter than others but loud is good in this case. Just don't hear scrapping or clunking lol

Its interesting I purchased a pair on ebay and wahl did a full repair and advised they were authentic. They accidently send me a second new pair and the old pair back and let me keep the old pair. The old pair is made in Hungary and the new pair is made in US. The old pair even after the repair has a loud and higher motor and the new pair has a lower sound exactly like the one in your video. I think for the older models or certain ones made the motor is louder and they might have upgraded some models to make the motor slightly quieter.

I love the detailer but,,,,, I have had several pair that the hinge that hold tension on that spring, breaks off and it is a piece of plastic that I'd molded into the bottom housing. I hate to toss them because of that one little piece.
