    Jake, I know this video is kind of old, but I want you to know I felt like you spoke straight to me. I'm an overweight 40 yr woman who wants to live my life to the fullest, so I just went looking for for anything close to martial arts... and i found you. I'm so glad I found you! I couldn't do all the kicks (not yet anyway) but I really got my sweat on! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

    I remember doing this workout 5 years ago while I was overweight in high school. I kept it up til I got skinny enough and forgot about it. Coming back and doing it again hearing him say and express those same words, counting in mandarin, and finishing with that flip, this is nostalgia. Still a tough ass workout.

    Hi! I'm almost 19, I'm too shy and I have no strength... I do love seeing this kind of videos and I had a class of Judo in school and it was amazing... Should I go for it, knowing that I'm too shy and sensitive?

    • @GalaxyBone
      @GalaxyBone 8 років тому +13

      +TheSophiaLautner Even though this is kind of a late answer, I think you should go for it :) Martial arts is good for you! Both physically and mentally

    • @meganculpeck4379
      @meganculpeck4379 8 років тому +10

      I am shy like you, I have been doing karate for a few years now and it has helped me a lot. For one it has helped me physically by getting me off the sofa and doing exercise and at my organisation I go to they keep the lessons fun and entertaining but serious at the same time. Secondly doing a martial art has helped me build my confidence. Thirdly it has helped me mentally (I don't know how to describe this part). It is worth giving it ago hope this isn't to late but meh. +TheSophiaLautner

      @fairytonashly1582 6 років тому +3

      Hell yeah! You ask? Martial arts is the best in so many ways. Don't restrain the amazing and mesmerizing feelings just because you are shy. And sensitivity will go away once you are strong enough and gain stamina. It's a late answer, but you must go. (Or had gone, perhaps)

    Hello Jake! Thank for this routine. I've completed everyday for an entire month with about 4 days of rest mixed in.
    My fitness and martial arts ability has taken a big level up, but also I learned how powerful consistency is.
    I've began to bring some of these exercises to my students to supercharge their fitness, technique, willpower, and confidence.
    Thank you again!

    If Bruce Lee was alive Jake Mace would kick his ass so bad. Here is how
    he would do it. Mace would lure him into his secret life longevity
    garden to make believe he was teaching him about vegan gardening..then
    when Bruce wasn't looking he would summon his killer tortoise to bite
    Bruce in his balls and infect him with the dirty mouth bacteria and
    Bruce would die two days later. Mace would bring him back to life with
    one of his vegan juices thus gaining huge respect in the Asian martial
    arts community right back to the Shaolin Temple. He would be a hero in
    china were they would ask him to stay for the remainder of his life and
    teach vegan gardening. He would have to leave his mistress salsa partner
    but it would be all worth it as his name would be gold through out
    China.

    It's good guys, ive been doing this on and off for the past two months, my form and strength have improved, before i could barely lift my leg without it feeling very heavy now my kicks are pretty powerful. I recommend doing this in the evening even when youre tired, makes you alert but it can make you sore. So not the best for going about the day.

      Ether Evening i am also looking for similar workouts. Do you do this one only daily or some other workout videos for some variation?

      kevivebutuoy kevivebutuoy I do this every two days. I have a pretty defined and strong upper body but my legs, glutes quads are much weaker. I do of extra and lunges squats with this. if you mean martial arts I do a traditional form once in a while meant for Shaolin monks by a UA-camr called Shaolin Xinyiba
