Peter just don't be heavy handed Here is how to do it. One remove the top cover and unplug the three plugs. Two .Rmove the two screw that hold the chassis to the body. Three. Disconnect the plastic piping on the body that goes into small holes in the chassis. You can now, lift off the body but again be careful of fine details. To remove the cab you remove two screw at the back There are 4 plastic locating lugs, two at the motor end of the cab floor and two that fit at the back to the loco that you can't see. If you Push the locating lugs forward one end of the cab will lift out. Use a craft knife between body and floor at the back and twist, the back locating lugs, will release then lift the cab floor up. What ever you do hold the cab upside down as the doors have two wire hinges that will drop out. It's easy once you know how to do it which is why I made the video.
Just use normal PVA wood/craft glue to stick the glazing. Quick, simple and dries completely clear. 😊
I've just got two of ebay i going to make a class 13 out of them excellent value for money
Hi Steven, I have the same 08 loco and was thinking of super detailing the cab interior, but I think I'll pass on that idea now.
