They'll ramp up the anti Labor rhetoric and propaganda until eventually the Libs will get back in to government. I'm not hopeful that Labor will get more then one term in to be honest, though fingers crossed because it will probably take them a decade just to unfuck everything the Libs did and then another decade before the benefits really start manifesting.

I’ve noticed over time that part of this has been caused by MPs and Councils etc advertising themselves as being able to so things they don’t have the power to, in order to get support. So people have lost scope on who does what, because most say they can do it all.
Also people aren’t willing to research it.

As a grandfather who wanted to help my grandchildren buy a house i was rejected by some Banks and lending organisations. They all said whoever was on the title must be able to pay the loan individually. They completely dismissed the fact that the property would be rented. As a pensioner they said I could not pay the loan. I had money in super but as I did not have an income (not in pension mode) I suggested I would put 50% down and borrow 50%. Still no co-operation. Then suggested I could buy Bank shares for further security, no go was the reply they do not take shares as security. So I tried to do what the Labor party is trying but the system failed me. I was not asking for any Government subsidy. I tried to introduce another family who through no fault of their own are renting. Same title rules apply. I tried to devise a system that I could help my Grandchildren but protect my assets. When I helped my son buy a house I had to sign a gift statement saying that I would not ask for the money back. Luckily his Sister has not asked for same.. There are a lot of people out there who pay rent but cannot save the deposit. Another matter is why people of influence are not exposing the SCOMO asset test change in 2017 where pensioner lost about $10,000 per couple per annum When an Australian AUSSIEGARCH receives the $10,000 in tax relief they should thank & think of the poor pensioners who saved under the pre 2017 rules who are now $50,000 down on what Peter Costello set as a way of helping pensioners. These pensioners are using their savings to survive. As a politician can you ask SCOMO if he declared a conflict of interest in voting for the $10,000 tax relief he and high earners are going to get.

Attempt 2, can someone explain to me funding for infrastructure in your electorate, I live in Dickson and have noticed a shit ton of unnecessary infrastructure popping up in last few months with little to none in regular times. Huge Road projects being redone when not needed, train stations being completely rebuilt after less than 10years, pedestrian bridges where people barely walk, list goes on. Is that Duttons office responsible for that or is that someone else? It’s so noticeable the increase in comparison to surrounding electorates as-well… just would like some clarification

    • @Tester-sh1mn

As someone who also lives in Dickson, I too would like to know. It does seem though that most unnecessary projects are in the Everton Electoral district which is run by Liberal MP Tim Mander, who is the Shadow Minister for Housing and Public Works.
      Seems awfully coincidental…

      It's called "CLEARING THE ACCOUNTS"
ie. They spend as much as possible from the public purse, signing onto contracts and making personal investments in shares into such contracts, then on the contract terms they attach exit strategies if the contracts get cancelled by a new government body....
The exit strategies are full of big cash payments as safe guards for investors (themselves) so it's a win win for them.
Meanwhile if a new government comes in the new government must unravel the previous governments mess and review the viability of the expense to begin with and then the new government gets to blame the old government for having no public money to spend to actually fix something properly.... knowing they're going to get ousted at some point neither give a rats ass what anyone thinks so long as the individuals who set up the contracts gets paid.
The whole system is corrupt, you be better of acknowledging it sooner than later...be it now, because it'll stop alot of anxiety and stress later!

Mr Dutton is delivering on the Ferny Grove station upgrade for the second election. Remember it's our money folks!!! On Monday the AUD dropped 1.4% to $0.69 when the USD reached 20 year high of 104.20. I LOL then i cry, The resource curse At times, the resource curse can also result from government corruption. If a large share of national wealth is concentrated in just a few industries, the government might abuse its regulatory powers, such as by awarding valuable contracts based on bribes. If too much labour and capital flows into just a small handful of sectors, it may weaken the rest of the economy and harm the country overall.

Don't forget the ability of those handful of sectors to convince the government to give it favorable deals... such as the fact that the government actually pays the mining corporations for the privilege of having our resources mined out.
