Oh Sarah, you did make me giggle today, I found myself smiling all the way through your video. I too have fallen down the rabbit hole and get so much pleasure and satisfaction form the little makes. It's like baby things they are so small, sweet and quick to make. I do believe you have found your inner child. The little rabbit was adorable and the clothes so cute, who could resist. I loved your story about your little niece’s LCR❣️🐰💙 I’ve knit the same rabbit pattern for my great granddaughter when she was born in May 2022…knitting her rabbit’s dress in the lavender yarn that matched her baby blanket (Helen Stewart’s TWINKLE TWINKLE) then for her first birthday I knit a second rabbit….my grandson says she sleeps with both bunnies…💕🐰🐰💕. …which gave me have HEART JUMPING MOMENTS! 🥰
Oh my goodness. You make me want to drop everything and start knitting a rabbit for my grandson. He loooves stuffies. I have been making the crochet animals with him for Edward’s Menagerie book and he absolutely loves making them with me. I’m making a blanket for his bunny inspired by yours. You really did make your little niece dream come true 💙I love watching your videos. Great episode.

I've knit tons of Julie Williams patterns. I totally get what you said about finished toys hitting differently. The first time I knit a little bear for the new born daughter of a friend of mine... I kept it! I knit a second one for the baby (I just couldn't give my first baby away...). Now I've knit so many of them... bunny, bear, elephant, mouse... They make the best gift knits and are cherished for years. Definitely check Julie's blog out. It's very poetic, and her story is heart warming. Lovely video!

My sister had made The Poppet Doll, it is knit in one piece with clothes. She had so much fun knitting it. Unfortunately she passed away in February. She enjoyed watching your podcast.

How adorable the little bunny is!! I have the pattern for a while but haven´t made one yet - now I really have to! I also can recommend the patterns from the Mouche and friends book. I have made Tino the mailman and Mimosa, one of the ducklings, for small relatives. And you knit them in one piece, you dont have to sew more than after you stuffed them.🥰 ( and my hubby wants one to have on his desk, so of course grown up can have one, they are the cutest friends😄) Hugs! Awesome job on the bunny. A few years ago I made myself a bunny and a polar bear which sit up in my sewing room. I made a few outfits also and switch them out seasonally. Julie makes such cute things and her directions are so very good, step by step and so cute😊
That bunny is so precious as are the outfits. Did your niece give the bunny a name yet? You may as well knit the “Emotional Support Chicken” and get it over with! 😂 Your house will soon be filled with knit bunnies! (Kind of like having real bunnies). 🌷🪻🌸🌹🌻

I love the bunny. I keep all my scraps from knitting and cut pieces after sewing in the end in a container and use them to fill knit animals and things like that. I do use fiber fill but prefer using the scraps. I'm so happy you knitted the blue rabbit and now you have the bug. I love knitting small animals. Sara Kellner has a bunch and Arnie and Carlos has a mouse. I made a seen for all the holidays one year. So cute I can't give them away. I also recently knitted the Frog from dotpebbles and love him so much.
The blue rabbit is absolutely adorable. I always look at my imperfections in my crochet as my unique character touches to my work. Hearing you talk about your journey while completing the rabbit was truly touching and heart jumping!!! Think about the joy you will give to your niece when she receives her rabbit!!! Hi Sarah, I think you should know how "invested" we all were in the "Blue Rabbit" ❤😂. I know you don't prefer to share family, however, just that little snippet of your neice wearing her party dress and meeting the "Blue Rabbit" was so magical. So thank you. I just wanted to mention that because of you, I made the Remi camisole for my daughter. I've never knit such a style of garment, I had a few "hiccups" in the beginning, but I finished it !! And I am so chuffed about it, so you do inspire others with your enthusiasm. And for sure, I will have to knit a Rabbit too ! 😊

Sarah, job well done on the blue rabbit. I have followed Little Cotton Rabbits for years. I have a rabbit pattern but have yet to make one. You have motivated me. I have done smaller items that Julie Williams designed. Small Christmas bears and some little stocking ornaments. They were fun to make. Always love your episodes. Nice to see you so happy about this project. It's nice when you are making something that is so fun and heart jumping.
