How is MIRAGE formed (in Hindi)

Yes, work is a scalar quantity but it can be negative. Here, negative sign in work (like -5 J) doesn't tell direction. It tells that the work done tries to reduce the kinetic energy of the body. Unlike other quantities, here -5 J doesn't mean that work done is in opposite direction. It tells that it is trying to reduce system's kinetic energy. Hope, it's clear.😊
