Oi and Street Punk got left behind in the 1990s. Part of what made it the way it was is we were actual working class folks. Leave school, can't afford college, gotta get a job. Only so much time to devote to music. Different now. Not better, not worse, just different. That sort of working class barely exists now. Most kids are so interconnected these days they have a laundry list of interests, idealogies, identities, etc to choose from.
Sometimes? Try all the time. The only great oi bands left in America are Birthrite, Wellington Arms and Fascine. Actual working class bands whose members will fight anyone, writing and playing talented, politically incorrect brick wall rock and roll. Fuck all the safe, ready made mall punk that tries to pass itself off as rebellion nowadays. Bishops green and Jenny Woo are a pitiful joke.
i almost exclusively listen to tunes from the 80s and 90s. Rarely do I check out a new band. Lame-o politics or wack sound. @@Cheeseburger.Launch.Sequence
got singled out in Rhode Island by a state trooper for having a shaved head and camo trousers. They asked if I had weapons I said no... it was bullshit back in like 1998.. I was on the way to work and I get this bs!
Listened to this is high school in 2001-2004, listening to it again in 2025. Still sounds good to me 🔥💪🏾
I love this song!
The guitar is awesome
greetings from Colombia!
The guitar in this is killer, why older oi bands are better💪
I prefer older oi

Not better or worse? Um, yes, a million times worse. I wouldn’t support those safe ass bands of today if you paid me.

Most cops nowadays don't care about shit like that
Time to revisit this discussion again.
How do they get that guitar tone?
They'd recorded in an 8 channel sound table, the Templars' Acre Studios. Because of this sounds raw and great!
the bass and guitar have different jobs and make it unique. and mac on vocals make it good.
