God is always working ALL things for the good of those who love Him, who are the called according to His purpose. Situations and circumstances may not always feel good or be easy. But God is working things for HIS purposes. We don’t, can not and will not ever see the whole meaning of a matter. We are to trust the One Who holds all things and knows all things. Lord help us to remember that by the power of Your Holy Spirit when things get rough and uncomfortable. Help us to abide and give us enduring power as we go through life’s trials. Keep our hearts burning to share Your Gospel🙏🏾
I can testify to this! But God allowed me to see a *tiny, tiny* portion of the reason why. Pre-Covid, I was desperate to teach English in Japan. I applied to several jobs. I did extremely well on one interview, I just knew the job was mine. The interviewer came back and told me they ended up offering the job to someone who was already living in Japan to save money on sponsorship. I was pretty heartbroken. I kid you not, the very next week, the middle of March 2020, the world shut down. God knew what He was about to do and was like, "Nope, you're staying put." 😂 I couldn't imagine what would have happened if I had been on lockdown in a foreign country with no family or friends. I know some were. THAT would have really devastated me. ALL things work together. Even, and sometimes, *especially* the "No's".
T-Rex stadium….gosh I love you Tara. The way you explain things and make everything so easy to understand is great. I have to admit after reading many Bible studies in a year, this has been my favorite. Thank you for your dedication and everything you offer us to learn His truth. I’m glad I found you 11 months ago ☺️
“And you see and hear that not only in Ephesus but in almost all of Asia this Paul has persuaded and turned away a great many people, saying that gods made with hands are not gods.” Acts 19:26 Any of the things we place before God whether it’s money, material possessions, praise of men, whatever they are; they are not God. Let us be aware of the folly of making other things “God” in our lives. Only He is our God and let us strive to make Him lord of every facet of our lives. Glory to God.
The story of the sons of Sceva always amuses me. That story is a lesson that one can't try to use the holy name of Jesus Christ for your own purposes. But, because of how they were embarrassed, many came to faith and gave up their evil practices. When hearts are receptive to the gospel, it should spark visible changes in people's lives. Acts 19:17-20 ESV [17] And this became known to all the residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks. And fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled. [18] Also many of those who were now believers came, confessing and divulging their practices. [19] And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted the value of them and found it came to fifty thousand pieces of silver. [20] So the word of the Lord continued to increase and prevail mightily. Yes and Amen, TLC! There's no power in the name of Jesus, but the person of Jesus. Wow! That's a very important distinction.
The early church continues to provide common spiritual sense examples of development. I praise Jesus for salvation, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and His sovereign leadership of His Church.
The Lord encouraged Paul not to be afraid, to keep speaking, not to be silent, and reminded him He is with him (Acts 18:9-10). He empowered Paul to speak boldly and argue persuasively (Acts 19:8). He did extraordinary miracles through Paul (Acts 19:11). How amazing that even handkerchiefs and aprons Paul had touched were used to cure illnesses and drive out evil spirits (Acts 19:12).
There is not power in the word Jesus. There is power in the PERSON Jesus. WE can’t access His power apart from His person. God uses ordinary people and experiences to spread the gospel all over the world. He takes our daily lives and weaves His plan in us and through us. He’s such a good Father.
I’m so thankful God led Paul to share the Gospel with the Gentiles. I am a Christian because Christ was shared with my ancestors and me. God’s desire for all to know is a gift of such unimaginable love, I will forever be humbled and grateful for. Thank You Father for the Way through Christ!
Each Sermon today And Bible Recap 332 affirms to me again and again that what may appear to be hardship, chaos, and even God’s absence is an opportunity to exercise my faith, patience and trust that He is moving on my behalf for His Glory and my good. What hope!!
TBR's UA-cam channel has been reposting several OT recaps recently...it's cluttering up the channel and making it hard for me to find the current NT recaps. Please fix this!🙏🙃
It's a pop culture reference that was popular several years ago. The phrase, meaning go on and get out of here, originated from a movie that came out in the 90s. 👍🏽
The byeeee Felisha of the Bible lol. God will always protect us and our walk with him. God can use us to spread his word. Reminds me of a song. All things are working for my good He’s intentional never failing. He definitely is intentional about spreading his word. He is where the joy is. 🫶🏽🙌🏽

The story of Sceva’s sons reminds us of the power of Jesus’ name, and the reverence and fear that He deserves.
I love reading about Priscilla and Aquila. Their unity as a couple to build the Kingdom is beautiful ❤
The opposition to God is strong. However, His will is stronger and will always be accomplished

Agreed, power in the PERSON Jesus, not just the name of Jesus.❤

Hi it's Micah may watching TLC fabulous recap 😊😊
Good morning 😃
Hey Bible Readers!
Thank you all
Interesting how organized religion has a way of pushing the gospel out in favor of tradition … and so the gospel moves into the mainstream. Only God!
T Rex stadium. Love it!😂
