@@iamsin6808 no seriously any combo that used select button blinking which was just normal and expected 15 years ago is way harder than these. if sf6 is your first fighting game then fair enough they probably seem insane. but if you were around before the sfv tekken 7 3 to 5 frame buffer window era this is literally just an easy to moderate combo
@@TannerLindberg I’m saying in the void of sf6 there’s not another chacracter with as many/any manually timed combos. I know in all of fighting games there’s probably harder stuff but in a game as execution easy as sf 6, it is a more difficult combo. If you think this is broke they you’ll have to justify Ken getting full corner carry off one touch without a super or rashid lvl 2 being an exceptional pressure and combo tool that allows for 3 plus mixes with little to no execution I just think it’s silly to even talk about removing these Ed combos because they’re “cheap” it’s hardly the most cheap thing in the game and amongst the “cheap” category there are far more easy tools that require no thought that offer more utility for less resources.

@@orca1770 i dont know what combos exactly you talking about but if you are too close to the corner you can do the default lvl 2 combo (HDP - ForwardHP - HDP OR delayed KR into Hblitz). if you saw a better combo go for it!
@@orca1770 only thing that's stopping me from saying yes is the fact these combos require very specific spacing and are also a lot more harder than the other ones. On top of that there's also the fact that at certain distances even if you land a hit, you'll be far enough where ex blitz won't connect in time while ex flicker will. Overall as usual it depends on the spacing, meter situation, and what you feel comfortable being able to land, I'll probably make a vid sometime in the future with all the Ed combos you should learn with lvl2
@@618Smokey lol I feel that, like his stuff with lvl2 is cool and all but I do feel like a lot of his other stuff just don't get utilized like that or at all which sucks since he got some pretty cool confirms without lvl2
You want to hold down while you are recovering from the level 2. Once Ed begins to duck go straight into Heavy Blitz. The ducking motion is your reference, so try the different ranges he ducks to get the right one
I like the "i dont like this corner maybe we go to the other one" 😂
6K with corner to corner and a safe jump is just insane.

How Ed came from how he was in SFV to THIS needs to be studied

1:58 i love how this combo almost uses every move in the book; so stylish
Cody's bgm is so good

Well I found my main Ed time to learn

The other combos were extremely situational, learn these and you are set, you just have to land OD Blitz in these combos and they are pretty optimal.
@@couds1330 you don't think it's good to know the previous combos though because of depending if you're too close too the corner?

A tutorial on the new one with the 6HP after the two HP dp’s would be greatly appreciated. I can’t seem to get the one bounce
wanted to say im having trouble with the same thing and would love some info on it!
Pretty sure it's a delay cancel on the EX Blitz so that you only get one bounce instead of two on the first rebound
0:38, any tips how to land this one? The first special doesnt put my opponent into the same position when i try to do it.
it's really tricky, I still can't do it on purpose, but I thing is you have to delay and do a micro walk (backward) I guess
You have to delay the move by 7-8 frames. You can make it easier by doing when you see ed begin to crouch. Watch nightmareeffects vid on it

How do you time the quarter circle heavy after the od launcher after you level 2 it’s hard getting the bounce
7-8 frame delay exactly on the heavy blitz

Maybe they should nerf the drive gauge build a bit.
All that and he's still mid tier
