- The Musonia School of Music celebrates the induction of local hero Randy Rhoads into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2021 with a live performance by PLUSH
In the late 1970's and early 1980's the Musonia was ground zero for a revolution in Rock music with the San Fernando valley being home to musicians like the Van Halen brothers, The Rhoads brothers, Rudy Salazar, and many others, all thanks to the wise and loving support by the founder of the school, Delores Rhoads, who died in 2015 at the age of 95.
To help us celebrate, we invited the up and coming all-girl rock band PLUSH to come visit the school, and get a personal tour by owner Kelle Rhoads.
They learned a little Rock and Roll history and ended up putting on a master class in music, with a performance of their song "Champion" from their debut album "Athena".

Beautiful, Randy has been my favorite Guitarist for years and Plush is Amazing . Randy would be so proud.
This is cool on so many levels. RR is my favorite guitarist and to see their knowledge and respect is touching. I hope this band breaks through. They seem to have it all.

I just discovered plush you young ladies would make Delores Rhoades so proud Plush is doing WHAT , Is the WHY Delores started that school. Also anything tips or tricks you can get from Micheal Sweet for multi Vocals . I know you know him from other video's. Moriah needs a blacked out Gibson Les Paul....She would look even more bad ass with it! Bella looks kickin with that Jackson! I love this band! Making superior music with sub par instruments! :P Randy has to be lookin down proud of these super talented Ladies!
Found out about plush watching Brooke c being amazed at her talent and how young she was. Was so fascinated with her passion, talent, kindness, amazing soul, beautiful on the inside and out. You just don't see that..
And then plush came WOW..
I love these women!! They are bringing heavy metal and rock and roll back.. growing up in the '80s being a lead guitarist. Then learn how to play all the instruments singing Becoming a producer, engineer all that stuff.
I was so upset that they was no really good music for heavy metal and rock and roll anymore. Just a bunch of kids copying UA-cam never knowing how to make their own music. Never going on the road. Never learning the right way.
You lose something when you learn music that way. Something is just missing. Not very hard to just copy someone on UA-cam does not make you a good musician.. anybody can do that.. there's a lot more to it.
These women seem to have worked very hard learning and learning and learning. In every way possible.
They play with passion, heart and soul and have learned from the best type of music.. very intelligent women..
Honestly probably the best female band I've ever seen And I think they're 21 and younger.
Their covers are as good as the original if not better. They play and feel everything they do.. they put their heart and soul into all of it.
There are originals are a testament to everything I just said!! They're fantastic!!
Oh and did I mention absolutely beautiful!!! And they're not conceited.. very grounded!!

I found Brooke on UA-cam several days ago and I have watched many of her cover videos. I think she is just fantastic. Today is January 17th, 2022, and today I found the band, Plush. I did see Brooke and Moriah playing "Barracuda" which I thought was done very, very well. I wish you all the best and I hope you have great success. Please stay away from the tattoos, please!!! I'll keep looking for a Plush album and I promise to be an enthusiastic supporter. God Bless, Ernest III

@@Baribrotzer Hi Bari, this is really my favorite new band. I happen to be almost 63 and it really disturbs me when I see young people or people of any age needlessly marking themselves up with tattoos. These girls are so young, and they are such good musical players. I hope and think that we may be watching the very beginning of a band that has the potential to become a true mega superstar band. I think they are that good. If they do become that then many people will idolize them. I believe that having no tattoos would really improve their image as great role models throughout the world. If I could go back in time, I would advise John Lennon to stay away from heroin. Take Care.
Plush does have an album out for sale through Pavementmusic. I just ordered a CD last night. Nothing like owning an actual physical copy. If I remember correctly they have vinyl available as well.

@@ernestwaxteriii1179 I've been a subscriber to Brooke pretty much when she started her youtube channel so I've been following along fairly well. I knew that she was playing with Moriah here and there but life kept me busy lately and I only recently found out about their band. I watched a few youtube videos on Plush and immediately did a google search for a copy of the album. I just ordered it and will wait to play it on my beloved PS Audio/JBL two channel home stereo system. I'm 42 and still try to honor music the way we used to. I don't want to ruin my first experience of Plush from streaming from my phone. Bluetooth speakers and earbuds are for daily passing time with familiar so so music. I recommend all music fans to make component stereo systems a part of every household again. There's nothing better then the effortless reproduction of music through a larger higher wattage component system with good speakers. With that said I don't have a favorite as of yet but I loved the intro to "Will Not Win". When this album comes in I will definitely let you know.
Damn...March 19, 1982...forty years ago but it still stings. I was a freshman in high school and I had just "discovered" Ozzy w/ Randy Rhoads. And then "poof", gone. Fast forward to 2022, and I "discovered" Brooke C weeks ago watching a cover video she had done and I was an instant fan. I knew about Moriah, but had no idea she and Brooke had hooked up and jamming together. Eureka!! I looked up a couple of 'Plush' videos and BLAM!, I was hooked with their rendition of 'Barracuda' my favorite. And now to see the girls setting foot on the grounds upon which Randy Rhoads spent hours developing and refining his extraordinary skills which was rooted in classical music...unreal. Moriah, Brooke, Ashley, Bella...you're the best and in rarified air.
Just stumbled on to this video . I love it. Plush is one of my favorite new bands .

So many memories of good talented folks who died so young and Music does go on and find much more talent , and not afraid to say i am totally infatuated with Brooke C , what an Amazing talent and gorgeous lady with such great class , keep it up Plush, you guys Rock!
