Hey there I got a similar bike and been riding it lots/ crashed it a couple times. Noticed the blue wire going to the controller melted quite a bit and I thought the issue was my throttle but I'm still working on it.
Nice, that's the first generation EBeast. The current model is seen my channel with different graphics. Also the second generation comes with 2 remote control instead of a key and a push to start on where the gas tank top would of been at.
@@FeathersOffroad yeah honestly think it might hold up if u don’t absolutely abuse the hell out of it! Glad I saw your video about the sprocket will definitely look into that once I get mine! Thanks for the videos will be waiting to see more
Im definitely not saying that this is quality, but i have beat the crap out of this bike now (over a year) and the worst thing to happen so far was a broken brake pedal.
I noticed on alibaba the motor on this bike is only 3000w. But the other nicot e beasts have 12000watts. For basically the same price 5grand. Why does this bike only have 3000watts?
Chinese retailers like to exaggerate specs to get your business. the motor is a 3kw constant/12kw peak on all of these bikes. Motor, controller and battery all play a role as well. if your battery can't sustain the amp draw or your controller cant pass the current, they will limit your power. I've ridden this bike for years now and any more power would probably just wheelie over backwards.
Do you get a separate charger with it or is it built into the bike? Could you do a video showing rh charging process? Also do you know the battery cells they use? Is the battery decent?
It comes with a separate charger. I dont know much about the battery but i have not had any problems with it. I actually did a video on the charger earlier this year: ua-cam.com/video/YuLkbLfNZ1E/v-deo.html
They have changed the stickers and added a headlight, but the power train is exactly the same. I have a buddy picking up this red/black one now. There is one other retailer on Alibaba for slightly more, but these Secutronic guys were great to work with. www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Adult-Motocross-72V-12000W-High-Power_62537379170.html
Nice bike. Did you order from a supplier on Alibaba? Did the front and rear wheel have rim locks? To secure the tires on. I assume the tires are tube type, Right?
yes, from Alibaba. no rim locks, if you watch my Moab post-ride video you can see I got two flats. then I added rim locks to both tires in another video and had no problems since. yes, tube type
I would say this is a pretty good machine. Im struggling right now to find a brake pedal, but other than that ive had no major issues with this. I got it much cheaper than any US equivalent.
Sorry more questions but I'm seriously considering one of these. I assume it's pretty decent if your friend has decided to buy one after seeing/riding and/or hearing about yours. You have the Nicot. I don't see the supplier you bought from offering the Nicot. I like the idea of using the supplier you had a good experience with. How confident are you guys that the other ones they offer are equal to or better than the Nicot? Do you know of any reason to buy the Nicot branded version (a few hundred dollars more) over the others?
From the pictures and seeing mine in person, im almost sure the only difference is stickers. The vendor for mine was Secutronic Company Limited. No complaints from me. Im pretty sure mine says Nicot somewhere on it anyway
I didnt buy from Frank (but i have a friend who is). For a sample order (1 unit) they will take care of all the import fees and shipping. Shipping was about $850 when I ordered, but I believe it is closer to $1000 USD right now.
its kind of a weird machine. I can get around 25 miles of trail riding if I am going pretty fast. The less you push it, the further you go. It does have gears, check out some of the other videos, but it has 4 gears and I usually stay in 2nd or 3rd all the time.
agree. Still have lots of snow here, so probably at least two more months before I can ride anything good. Have to stick to desert and dunes for now unfortunately.
it has 4 gears with a top speed of 62mph/100kmh. It also has an 'eco mode' where it reduces the power a bit for more range. I am getting about 27 miles/43km per charge in normal mode. I would expect eco mode to almost double that range.
It was pretty straightforward. Talked with the vendor to get the exact quote with shipping, they sent me an invoice through Alibaba and i paid through the Alibaba Trade Assurance in case something went sideways. I kept all the payments through Alibaba instead of going outside and paying the vendor directly. Alibaba had several options for paying the invoice, wire transfer, paypal, credit card, etc

generally, yes. No major issues. I recently posted a video about the retaining clip that keeps breaking on me, but I think a spacer has solved that this time.
surprisingly not terrible. I mentioned it in one of the videos, but maybe I do one and show it a bit closer. it does have adjustments for compression and rebound on both front and rear. My KTM has a fast and slow compression, so it's definitely not that quality, but its pretty capable.
agree, but if that ever shows up, im sure it will retail for 10-11k USD compared to 4-5k. No regrets so far from me, but time will tell how it holds up.
range is close to 27 miles/43km but it really depends on terrain and how hard you push it. Ive gotten as low as 20 miles/32km and over 30 miles. I purchased from alibaba
@@FeathersOffroad cool thanx,Ive never bought from alibaba, so wouldnt know how to pick to trust, it ranges from $3800, but dont know if thats final price with shipping or there is an extra cost because of port, could you pls paste the link thanks
I'm getting more and more into climate change but... I still want to ride dirtbikes I want too switch to electric MX bike as I'm wanting a more environmentally friendly way to ride.
honestly, the main draw for me was less maintenance. I can get a solid 4 hours of trails and not have to worry about oil/air filter changes after 3 rides. No mixing gas, just charge and go. another benefit is the torque in low gears. Haven't had a chance to go to a track yet, but in trails it will climb anything. plus, super quiet. depending on if you like that or not.

at the time of this video is was about $4200 USD imported from China
Is this from aliexpress
@Kdaileyy yes, Alibaba
They say they only sell to distributors. How can I still get one of these bikes?
not sure, there are two companies on Alibaba I've seen selling it. Secutronic and Nicot Moto. Maybe try another vendor?
How much was the full price then?
about 4400 a year ago. A few friends have ordered recently and they are getting close to 5k with inflation/shipping increases
What would happens if I brought this same surron for 1k there’s one eaxct same on on there. 1k?
1k doesn't sound right. the battery alone is probably worth that much. A surron or this bigger bike should be between 4-6k
