Weirdly enough, despite the obvious tonal and script problems, "The Incredible Hulk" is the film I've re-watched the most in the whole MCU, beating out "Black Panther" and "Doctor Strange" by three or four viewings. There's something about the darker tone and just having an all-out slugfest between two monsters that is very enjoyable. It's one of the reasons why introducing Wolverine in a Hulk film is probably the best bet for pleasing comics fans.
Couldn't agree more. A remastered Hulk movie would be pretty sick (to fix the janky script/ tone, update the graphics) but is probably too much to ask for. A cinematic run-in with Wolverine would be incredible as well, and I've read and seen it way too many times to not want it. I wish they had more development with Banner and Hulk, since that gap made the Endgame transformation seem rushed and undeserved.
