The originals are very nostalgic to me. When I was a little boy I saw many hunter originals. They were everywhere back in my day. Nowadays you don’t really see them around anymore which is a real shame
3:13-3:43 is my heart!!! It literally brings a tear to my eye; that commercial is so flawless and smooth. I tell you what if I was an adult in 1993 I just might have bought 10 fans off that commercial! 😍
What a difference from 80's commercials compared to today. Products back then were sold on what they did, the benefits to you, save money, etc. Marketers treated you like reasonable adults instead of impulsive children. Today commercials are more based on appeals to raw emotion and personal identity. The product itself is secondary.
My worst childhood fear starts at 5:16. I would run out of the room SCREAMING when it came on Nick at Nite. I was 5 or 6 so around ‘97-98. Can’t believe I found it lol.
Those hunter fans are the best of the best. I wish I grew up in the 80s for those fans. Some new hunters are ok, but I hated it when they discontinued AirMax motors, and some of those good hunters. They now seem pretty hard to find these days. And those originals in the commercial with Gruene Dance Hall, they remind me of the originals at a restaurant out in Snydersville. Two of them spin exactly that slow. This is my all time favorite video.
They could’ve put a 3rd commercial saying that there’s nothing more annoying than a cheap fan, where the SMC Laguna with 5 Flower shades makes Squeaking noises like squeaky dog toys. But a Hunter Fan with it’s whisper quiet motor and sturdy wobble-free design will never get you off the deep end, where the Hunter Original with 4 Blades with a schoolhouse light kit stays quiet and doesn’t wobble.
I remember the days when Hunter Original fans actually ran at the aesthetically low speed shown in the first commercial. I bet even at that low speed they moved enough air to be effective. Even if production of the fan remains overseas, it would be nice for the fan to be designed that way again (using the exact same motor, blade pitch, etc.).
the thing that really gets me on these commercials is the fact that they always run the cheap fans on very high speeds, but they always run the hunter fans on very low speeds to make them look better when most of the time you're gonna be running the hunter fans on higher speeds. Marketing.
3:14 is my favorite Hunter Commercial the Summer forcast of 93. I miss the good Hunter days and the Summer Forcast commercial of 1993 kind of makes me have tears because the sightings are Beautiful. The Hunter southern classic one of my favorite Hunter fans besides the original with a pretty installation appears at 3:24. My second favorite commercial appears at 4:15 because I love the 2nd century original. The Dreamland also appears at 9:27, I love the dreamland for Childhood Reasons. I wish Hunter still made Classic fans today.
I absolutely agree. I'm actually tearing up just typing this to u. Your zealous love for fans is sting like mines. What a beautiful poetic, soft and sweet commercial. That piano, those views! I salute to the commercial i say!
Heck yea man! I'm watching it rn... 😢 It's flawless! I really wonder how that Executive Conference went back in 93 when they presented this to the others in the Company. I can just imagine the awe around the conference table! 🤩

Hunter is one of the legendary ceiling fans.
He was talking by about the old hunter fans from the 1930s 1940s 1950s 1960s 1970s 1980s 1990s

At 3:13 my favorite commercial, it’s flawless, it’s relaxing, it’s stress killing. Do I need to keep going?

Vintage fans are better than Today’s fans!

Man, I wish fans today still sold Hunter Originals. And I wish they were less expensive.
Yeah the price nowadays for the original is on the clouds. Really great fan but 600 dollars for that is very expensive, christ.
