    Reviews with smiles on our faces,unusual for us to break or equal a record,4 clean sheets since 2013 😂.Yr so right,you just can’t predict QPR,that’s why we support them.

    Steve Cook reminding the QPR players to concentrate and keep hold of the lead after going 2-0 ahead was the highlight of the Oxford match for me. True grit winning mentality is what it is about. U RRRs!!!

      Yes he was doing it throughout the 2nd half and you could tell how much he wanted the clean sheet. Varane was celebrating the 2nd shouting Vamos and Cook is straight at him to get back and concentrate. What a leader.

    Good review.
    Bristol City fan here, all pretty fair. Mehmeti 6 Goals from wide and age 23 never know if he can improve some other bits. We are very solidly midtable..XG and Shots Data has us 8th-11th or 8th-10th based on weighting. Jason Knight has reportedly been looked at by PL Clubs in his Derby Coutny days hut think the hope is that Mayulu, Armstrong or both are the next £10m plus players..nut that looks a very long way off.
    We really need a win yet a draw feels likely to me, QPR absolutely also strike me as a better side than their League position indicates, should be a decent game.

    • @hoopsanddreamsQPR
      @hoopsanddreamsQPR  5 днів тому

      Thanks for commenting - yes 'solidly midtable' sums you up looking at all the stats. Good days followed by bad days. You seem to lack any consistency this season.
      I think QPR fans would take a draw to keep us ticking over. We have a bit of momentum but 3 wins in a row for a team that only had 2 all season prior to last Saturday is a lot to ask!

    Great show again boys almost giddy with joy at the way QPR have switched it on finally.The Stoke game where we missed the PK was actually the start and that draw kickstarted into excellent form.Great discussion about our striker fiasco its beyond belief we are relying on young kids to get us goals and once they are scouted it wont be easy.Enjoyed the Armstrong discussion like Dave I was very dissapointed he was sold but I dont feel he will score saturday our defenders know his game too well .I would take a draw here but feel we have such confidence in the last few games we could get 3 in a row.

    • @hoopsanddreamsQPR
      @hoopsanddreamsQPR  5 днів тому +1

      Agree on Stoke, that was probably our best performance attacking wise of the season and we should have won. The performance gave us renewed confidence though and we've not looked back.
      I was disappointed Armstrong was sold too, it will be interesting to see if he starts tomorrow.
      A draw here would keep us ticking along nicely.

    First half it was as bad as it gets without conceding. It was like shades of Blackburn at home under Ainsworth - the difference being we were playing a side that couldn't finish their dinner. I had a fear that we put so much into Norwich that the players came out and all looked hung over and really leggy...also considering Oxford had 10 days rest before this game so in hindsight them having higher energy levels at kick-off was probably expected. Second half I thought we were brilliant. Put Sam Field's goals aside I thought he had a brilliant all round game. He seemed to do everything - good hold up play, good awareness on and off the ball, good passing, good pressing, good defending, and to top it off really good finishing too. I thought Varane had an excellent game too, Saito again was really good - brilliant winning the ball back high up the pitch for our second goal, and shout out to Morrison who again stepped in and was very solid, he's striking up a good partnership with Cook now and it raises the question - because JCS is constantly injured when he comes back does he go strait back in the side? I would so say no because Morrison has earned his place in the starting 11 with solid performances

    • @hoopsanddreamsQPR
      @hoopsanddreamsQPR  6 днів тому +3

      A few good points there. We were poor first half but Oxford only really had 1 or 2 half chances and you are right they had a lot fresher legs after a postponed game.
      Varane is getting better with each game and Field is growing in confidence in his partner, hence why he's all over the pitch now. Bodes well.
      Saito is fantastic, hope we have a deal secured for him.
      Morrison has to keep his place. 5 league starts and 1 goal conceded! His sliding tackle bombing across to cover Cook in the 2nd half was superb.

    Said I wanted a win over Norwich and Oxford and it happened! That first half against Oxford was truly awful but same as you, I felt if we got to half time 0-0 then the second half would be ours, and it was. I wont start preparing for the playoffs yet but its nice to be in a good place.

    • @hoopsanddreamsQPR
      @hoopsanddreamsQPR  6 днів тому +1

      Absolutely right, everything that was said about January still applies - we need forwards and depth! We want a comfortable 2nd half of the season, so the plans should remain as they were!

    • @bryanfisher4521
      @bryanfisher4521 6 днів тому

      All depends upon whether we can cover games without losing key players. The LB role relies far too much on having Kenneth Paal fit, and the same applies in midfield to some degree. That said, we are all a lot more optimistic in December than we were in November!

      That may be a stretch but if we can just have a 2nd half of the season without worrying about every match that would be lovely! We just need to keep this momentum, because only need to slip up on Saturday and we will be looking over our shoulder again!

    Hi lads, another win prediction against Norwich! but 3~0 was a great result! we are looking so
    much better in defence also Varane has stepped up his game! Which has made a big difference!
    And at last starting to bring in some good youngsters in to the first team. Kolli looking a decent
    striker! He was thrown in the deep end and was justified, So on to Bristol going for another win
