@@tryingnottosink9107 Thats right, I started watching from #1, and this is where I am at right now. I 'm in California and was only in the Atlantic when I was in the Army in 1970. You guy have been more informing than 10,000 travel guides. No shit. I will be caught up to the present in a week. Fish fish fish
Hi guys, I been following your adventures, and I would like you to comment about your anchor , I noticed your primer is a Fortress, how big it is and how trustable you feel ,cause some times the wind blows. Thanks and keep going . Carlos
I love St. Augustine so much too! Have you all ever been to Beaches at Vilano where you can beach your tender (or at least you used to be able to) right at the restaurant? It is one of my favorite places there!
Your might not be responding to post this long after you posted, but I happened onto your site because of you mooring there! I am currently moored in salt run which is on the other side of Anastasia Island and have been the whole month of march! I also use a trolling motor for my hard dinghy, I haven't seen that that much. I will check out some more of your vids!
Your passing where I Live Richmond hill GA cool. I suggest a good place to stop for the night Ft McAllister marina Plus they have a nice restaurant on the marina.
Why did you purchase an inflatable dinghy when I believe you have a 24 foot tender on your boat? Also can you show a picture of your dingy and the divot on the back of your boat while docked?
St Augustine is place I have not been to but I would like to visit. by the way I heard you have to bathe in the fountain of youth not drink it for it to work. LOL I loved the White peacock that was beautiful. I'M going to Naples in either late January or early February. Once again I'M enjoying this series of videos on your trip. Thanks so much for sharing. Have a great weekend!!!
Very nice video Capitan ED and First Mate Lyn, I liked the Peacocks, so proud and showing off. You two !!, Your living the dream. Glad your still afloat. Cheers !!***.
As also thanks for posting this and sharing a life many of us just dream about. The good news is when my ship does come in, I will already be up to speed on the yacht lifestyle. It's going to be a Hatteras for the water, Gulfstream for all my air travels. Any future plans to take her out in the big deep water, like maybe cruising the Bahamas? Norman Cay is nice around this time of the year, so I've been told. Thanks, your friend, Johnny Rocco
Any idea on how big a boat those mooring balls can hold? Really enjoy your videos. We live right over in NJ and been boating on the Cheasepeak for 30 years. About to start traveling the ICW too and to Florida and the Bahamas. Keep up the videos and the adventures.
Just stumbled on your vlog. Loving it. One question, are you using a trolling motor on your dinghy? If so how powerful is it and how do you like it. We are thinking about trying one. Thanks. Bob and Sue
The name of the song is Budapest, it's by George Ezra. This particular cover is by Keith Maguire. They seem to have recorded it from him busking, during their video "Part 5 - Cruise from Atlantic City to New York to Port Jefferson on our way to Marta's Vineyard", it's around the 3:30 mark.
I was stationed at Jupiter Inlet twice. We didn't have a rescue boat, the nearest was at Juno. The LORSTA is long gone but the lighthouse is still there. We used to take visitors up, I doubt it's open to the public now.
Might need to be careful with that radio (Me and Julio easy audible in the background starting 3:30 for almost it's full length... You could get a copyright strike against your channel for that...
Ed.
Have you tried putting the stern plAtform next to the mooring ball..? Lyn could click a line to the ball, and walk the line to the bow.. .?
We do not have a full walk-around on our boat because of the extended aft deck.

St Augustine is a very pretty and interesting city to visit. One our favorites. Happy Sailing.
It is one of our favorite as well. We always stop and spend a few days.

We feel very safe with it. It weighs about 35 lbs, so it is not too heavy for the size. It is about three feet long altogether.
Locals call it th Lil bridge.
you are such a fun, great couple! enjoying yr vids.
Thanks. We are glad you like the videos!

It is definitely one of our favorite ports!
Just found you guys, great videos. Looks like a fun way to live.

We have long passed. Our videos are edited very late. We were in GA in June.

What do you do with your dingy when you get to shore? Is there a special place to tie them up?
How many feet / what hp motor is the whaler on top? And what kind of crane dows it take to get it up there?
It is 13 foot with a 40HP Yamaha. The davit (crane) is a Marquip 1000. We just had it rebuilt. A video of that will be posted soon.

I do not know. We described our boat and they had no problem letting us get a ball. We are 65 feet and 70,000 lbs.
When you visit next, try Salt Water Cowboys, O'Steen's or Burrito Works. Great places to eat.
Sounds good. We are always looking for new places.
Fun to watch on a rainy night here in Dunnellon! Thanx.
Beautiful boat.
Thanks!
Hello, is your yacht capable of making an ocean crossing? I enjoy your videos.
The boat can do it, however, we cannot currently carry enough fuel. Our range is around 500 miles.

You guys are great! Keep it up 😎
Thanks for sharing.
I live in Michigan can’t wait for boating I just purchased a new boat it’s going to be a long winter
Congratulations!
I may be turned around but heading North in November ? How deep was the anchorage in St. Augustine? Great video!
What song are you playing at the intro?
Budapest
What is the name of the song in the opening of the video?

You have another boat up on the top. What is that for?
Robert Garbe the dinghy/boston whaler on top is typically used for a dinghy. To get to and from shore.
Exactly. Although, it is a pain to take her down and put her back, so we have a smaller dinghy on the swim platform as well.
Two dinghys. I get it. Used to seeing just one.
My old stomping ground. I retired out of Kingsbay, Ga. St Marys is nice. You should visit.
You should get a little 5 hp merc for the dingy
I know. We are thinking about it.
Another nice video from you two. I think the Fountain of Youth is no longer effective due to pollution/contamination. :-)
I think it is working in reverse now!
Lol. :-)
Thanks!
I like the peacocks!
In the Coat Guard, we call those charts... not maps ; )

I love your videos but your opening music leaves much to be desired
We have received a lot of comments on the opening music. Your was the first that did not like it. The words work for us.
It didn't work for me either. I was there in 1973
