Oh I loved Tom's story. I think of my grandparents OFTEN and reminisce about the way they lived. They were simple, happy people with huge vegetable and flower gardens, and lived on a river where we fished and played. We picked wild strawberries but were told not to go up to the RR tracks as the hobos traveled along them. My grandmother always fed them and sent them off with fresh vegetables and a large sack of sandwiches if they came down to the house.
She also had a wringer washer on the back porch when I was a small child. She eventually had a new washer and dryer in the basement, but hung clothes to dry most of the time. One of my favorite possessions is her sewing box.

True sasquatch can scream loud.. I've heard and stood there for 9 minutes, no police, no rescue, no fire trucks.. no one went running. I was a block over, and it was exactly like a women screened for her life!! No joke. I'm in Massachusetts!

I really appreciated that email from the gentleman who spoke out about the logging industry and more, and why economically it would not behoove the government or big business or the alphabet organizations (FBI, etc…) to admit to the actual existence of Sasquatch and the fact that they live and thrive in forests, woodlands and such. It’s ultimately ALWAYS about MONEY.

Cam, TY❣️ I love your podcast, Yeti Soaps, Steve Lilly & all your narrations. I've been with U for a long time. Great stories today ... especially Tom's & him sharing family memories which reminded me of mine.
I was born in the 50s & remember great-grandpa's family farm or visiting those great-aunts & uncles with their homes surrounded by dirt roads. I remember my brother & I looking for the perfect branch to make a sling shot & me being 6 trying to help my brother as he fixed the hole in his bike's air tube. I remember us walking home or us two on 1 bike riding home from Catholic school daily for my mom's hot lunch & rushing back to school for 10+ blocks trying hard not to be late. I also remember not hearing a disrespectful student or cousin disobeying or talking back to their auties or uncles or grandma/pa. You just didn't... because of heartfelt respect & love for them. I remember playing tag & etc outside till dark, catching tadpoles by the buckets & putting them all in my mom's large metal washing tin & many other memories made it for better times. I remember days LATER.. we were shocked our backyard was infested with beautiful baby frogs & mom not happy. And let us not forget catching those white horny Texas toads.
But now i also live in this small town of El Mirage whose residents have & write on FB about many of their amazing old El Mirage stories of the 40's, 50's, 60-70s, 80-90s. Then there's the 1940-50s folks living in tents here till their papa hand built their small wooden homes and ppl starting small family restaurants or grocery stores or garages with gas stations. We had swimming in the farming canals bc we forever waited for a town swimming pool. Then there's the stories of the ghosts of teachers & staff seen at the old El Mirage Elementary School which now existings only in our memories. Yes, our worlds are full of great memories & odd stories. TY everyone who shares & submits their stories. It helps us enjoy life & makes it even better❣️

I really enjoyed Tom's story. It reminds me a lot about my family and the old traditions that have seemed to faded away and seldom seen anymore. Also, the Booger Man was the exact way I was introduced when I was a small child. I have some first hand knowledge of the creature that is considered a myth by many, but many more know a lot better that it is not just a myth. My Grandfather would say, you kids don't go too far into the woods now, make sure you can at least see the house and don't go any farther than that. We listened most of the time.

    • @talon7132
      @talon7132 2 роки тому +5

My grandparents used to call them "Howlers" and had some living on the property in some 180 acres of thick pines in Arkansas.
Who would've ever guessed that as an adult I would actually buy my grandparents property and built a small house on it. Imagine my surprise when I discovered I still have a clan of Howlers around.
Haven't seen one yet. Seen lots of evidence of them when they get curious about the farmstead and wander close to the house , barn or garden , and most recently a huge oily handprint on the top panel of glass that is my greenhouse. Everytime I grab my guitar and go outside on my deck to play the Howlers try to sing along with the music.
I don't allow hunting or fishing on the grounds. I never venture any deeper into the woods than the Creek running through the land which is roughly about 3/4 of a mile past a long forgotten about cemetery ( the cemetery is another story).
If I allowed people to come looking for them , I fear the Howlers getting pissed off and aggressive , or worse someone actually brings physical proof like a body.
Not trying to deal with that nonsense.
These creatures have proven over decades and generations that they just want to be left alone to live their lives.
I can say confidently that I have about 5 maybe 6 individuals I can recognize by hearing them.

Unlike this stand up kid in the story my cousin hauled but and left a six year old standing in the middle of the road pouring down rain crying. Twenty minutes or so passed and my uncle pulled up to get me. This cousin as you could figure turned out to be a complete piece of work. Good morning 🌄 ! Thank you for another video, Cam ! I hope you and your family are doing well. I'm behind on several videos as we've had a lot going on lately. We may have to move after about 18 years of renting here. Our landlady passed away and just two days after she was buried her husband passed. She was 90 and he was, I think, 94. My husband works for their youngest son but it's going to be up to their eldest son whether we have to move. I've come to think of this place as home and it's convenient to hospital, stores, etc. I hope all of our people are doing well. Love and blessings to you all. 🙏🏼💕🙏🏼

I am about 20 minutes from Mentone, Alabama. I believe they were in State Park. Now bears are a rare occurrence, but there are some, not like it use to be. I have walked out there a lot but during the day!

Hello Miss Mary, I'm 77 and I hope my story brought you happy memories. I still go back to Monroe twice a year to visit with my oldest brother and his wife. Then over to help my middle brother with planting and harvesting on the family farm near Oak Grove. After I got out of the Marine Corps in 1974 my wife and I went to Monroe to live, I was on the police dept. there for about 3 years. Then my wife got homesick so we moved back to Northern California. Monroe has changed a lot but it's still "home" to me and I have lived all over the country. Maybe you should visit it.

Steve Lilly reminds me of wolf man at Clark’s Tradepost in New Hamsphire. That one place you have to go in New Hamsphire. He catches the train with a gun.!

Hi Cam, I pray that you and yours are doing well! Also, I'm praying that you have gotten you're heart checked. Cholesterol tested and all of that. I've had that on my mind for a little over a year now and have been hoping that you had that done. We that are chubby need to keep a close eye on all of that. Especially if heart disease runs in you're family. I don't want you to have to go through what I did on September 13th 2019. Dying briefly from a massive widowmaker heart attack is NOT fun at all, Bro. Sending love your way!
